its not really lore its more geography
some lore mentioned in the game is still being changed tho, like the whole arcane chronicles which are now severely outdated
well the arcane chronicles is just a copy pasted lore document
still, they clearly aren’t that intent on keeping their word about ingame lore being finalized

hey how impactful is tobi on AOs lore, he used to be a contributor and definitely had an impact to how the game is today. asking because their version of apocalypse bringer is of a reddish orange coloration while apoc is usually represented as a teal (fusion in cataclysm, calvuses attacks, EVEN VETEX SAYING APOC IS TEAL[1]), methinks its just a difference in artistic ideas OR playing devils advocate apoc getting color variants

he has alot of inpact on the GAME so yeah i can understand if his concepts arent that lore accurate lol, but he definitely fills in the gaps through environmental storytelling (like hey, it goes through vetex anyways)
idk if it was already mentioned here but (chapter 10 spoilers) the first boss of chapter 10 is going to be an actual curse user and the second boss is going to be an oracle
Therefore, my theory is that Ravenna sends Julian as reinforcements, we meet up with them all at hallowed grove, julian immediately goes to fight us and reveals we killed calvus, morden steps in and fights julian alongside us, and then we defeat him and possibly reveal that calvus was evil to the samerian forces or its a forced loss fight and we get captured or something, no idea who the oracle would be though

Was never sure about which of the 2 bosses would be the curse user, and never knew we’d finally get a mandatory oracle fight in this chapter too

all we were able to be told by a patreon member was that it was a curse user and an oracle (they only provided this image)
so im assuming since we’ll be 180 when we fight the curse user that it’ll be the first boss fight of the chapter (further supported by that one twitter post that says the first fight will be with an ally, hence why i speculated it would be morden)

this person did, they said the oracle was first but gave the screenshot so id imagine the oracle was leaked first and then the curse user was just kind of implied indirectly
but idk, just makes more sense that the curse user is the first boss since vetex said 180 and also we’re 2v1ing the first boss of the chapter
vetex did only say “around” so any time during chapter 10 would be around (also he loves to change plans/lie, such as the frigate “never” being planned for Ch10 despite multiple statements for 180)
