it would make sense for an ancient olympian mountain to be in the same area of an ancient mythological kingdom thats ran by a guy who has a fancier name for “odin”

can someone ask vetex if a strength or weapon user or both at the pinnacle peak of their strength strongest out of all the other users be able to compete with a high tier mage or with a low tier curse user
yeah, i’m pretty sure there more than 15 curse users but also trace energy and legendary weapons can only take you so far, compared to true magic.
isn’t it literally said he sacrificed his body to become an immortal being or some shit like that

if they don’t give immortality then how did he stay alive for so long
Point of the question is how did he survive for that long BEFORE he became a dark spirit, which only happened around the 1800s

To give my 2 cents I could see him having discarded his physical body not long after his fight with Theos and the Fracture, assuming the magics and curses he absorbs don’t grant their passive extended lifespan/immortality.
Not only was he already getting kinda old (assuming no magic life extensions), he lost his right leg in the battle with Theos. So the first thing he probably did after the Fracture was find a way to circumvent his aging and crippled body which led to him becoming a dark spirit. That way he could get to restoring the power he lost from the Fracture without being shackled to his damaged body
Also I’m assuming the lore doc didn’t mention Durza having become an immortal spirit until the Y1854 mark because Vetex didn’t iron out the time period he’d do so. That whole paragraph seems like it’s playing catch up with what Durza did after the Fracture, so I’d say it’s safe to assuming it didn’t all take place in Y1854
Honestly who even knows if mount olympus is gonna be an explorable area. That religious nut in cirrus says it’s at the bottom of the ocean or something and also vetex maybe even reconned that because he mentioned something about like making it more mythologically accurate because mount olympus in real greek mythology isn’t LITERALLY the actual mountain. Its like this other dimension and that’s what vetex said so idk maybe mount olympus is just gonna be like Othrys or maybe it won’t even be a thing (as it is at “the bottom of the ocean”) even so this raises more questions if it’s really a different dimension how did arthur get there? How was he even allowed to be there? What was on the actual mountain? What ruins were there for people to steal from?
If its underwater, then it got there AFTER the killing of prometheus. Maybe as last effort Prometheus blowed himself up with grand fire curses and nuked olympus so hard that it broke down.
Or that without magical powers of gods it can no longer stand.
But imo, it will be explorable area, hell, maybe full sea will be dedicated just for olympus. Like 1 island for story, and whole sea is empty except the ruins of Olympus
yeah no that’s not gonna happen. we know that every sea is gonna have at least 1 kingdom. so there can’t be a mainland 4th sea situation here lol
