sorry for the late comment but it kinda makes sense when you consider that piracy is an occupation and not a moral standpoint? just so happens that pirates do a lot of horrible shit, but horrible people can do good things.

seems that Trigno wasn’t a fully contemptible person, just opposed the Arcane Government. did some morally questionable shit too, but doesn’t mean that he can’t do some good as well. just means he’s not a paragon of justice or a mustache twirling villain.
