Same

There’s not much to say beyond what’s on the lore doc or in the game.

I guess there are some tidbits that I don’t think are mentioned in either, at least not yet.

  • Wotan, the leader of Keraxe, was around since before the fracture
  • The strength of the gods is based on the size of their domain(This one is a little shaky cause I got it in a message from tech and that may be a little less concrete)
  • The first human magic user was a guy named Merlin, and he seemed to get the first curse too. Iirc he died at like 200 I believe because the curse and magic fucked up his brain but that might be wrong.

There are some other stuff that I just don’t remember rn and while I heavily doubt the first and last ones will change it’s still possible. At least until the end of Nimbus if the possibility of change does ever go away.

Lord Lancelot was the original, and possibly only, wielder of the inferno curse. He got it without the knowledge of king Arthur, having little respect for him. The curse made him the strongest of knights, but Prometheus’s hatred took over his mind. He decided to betray king Arthur. At some point, he slept with king Arthur’s wife who gave birth to a child, possibly Gallahad, who had inferno magic. But before lord Lancelot could attempt to kill king Arthur, lord Agravain caught wind of his plans. Due to being often seen as a villainous one, he didn’t try to warn king Arthur about lord Lancelot, as he may have been accused of treason. Instead, he rode to confront lord Lancelot alone. Villagers saw him and, thinking he was up to something, they left to warn lord Lancelot about lord Agravain’s arrival. Lord Lancelot, having gotten a heads up, managed to defeat Agravain with relative ease, but the region was destroyed in process. Prometheus’s rage took over, and his treason came to light. The survivors warned king Arthur of the battle of two knights and lord Lancelot’s betrayal, and so king Arthur learned of the grand fire curses.
From here, there are three possible outcomes:
Lord Lancelot managed to survive king’s rage and the fracture and found himself in the war seas. Not knowing what people may think of him, he changed name to Warren and took the role of the country’s protector.
Although lord Lancelot was killed, either by the hand of king Arthur, the fracture, or something else entirely, his son Gallahad survived. However, due to his father’s tarnished name, he had to go into hiding, forsaking Lancelot’s name. Although he died in the meantime, his descendant Warren remains a protector of Azura, and traces of inferno curse allowed him to outlive many.
Although lord Lancelot was killed, either by the hand of king Arthur, the fracture, or something else entirely, his son Gallahad survived. Traces of his father’s curse gave him incredible longevity, but his name was tarnished. As such, he changed his identity, becoming Warren, protector of Azura province.

what the headcanon

iirc it was 300, and he died cause he was so full of knowledge it wore down his brain. im not sure if he got the first curse but he invented magic circles

Now that you mentioned dying of knowledge I’m recalling that he got the knowledge curse, I’m almost certain that’s the case

wait so what would a god like prometheus’ domain actually be? forest fires?

nirvana curse yeah

It’s a theory, and a pretty stable one at that
Ghosts from Dark sea tell us they had to warn lord Lancelot about Agravain, and they also recalled hot blue flames in a battle lord Lancelot took part in.
Arthurian myths tell us that Lancelot was the strongest of knights and that Agravain was always considered more villainous, but that Lancelot was the one plotting a betrayal (and also slept with Arthur’s wife).
Lore tells us that Prometheus made the Grand fire curses with his hatred for Arthur, in hopes someone would find them and kill Arthur, and that Warren can use at least inferno magic, if not curse, and is at least 200 years old.
It really isn’t farfetched to assume a megalomaniac with no respect for his king would find an artifact that was basically “king Arthur #1 hater” badge made specifically to kill him, then try to kill said king.

Every time someone plans ahead for something he gets stronger.

God imagine how strong Epimetheus (twin of Prometheus, titan of hindsight) must be
“Enjoy your meal.”
“Thanks, you to.”
A colossal explosion kills them both and saves them from an awkward situation

Speaking of which, what was going on with epimetheus during the war of the gods? I wanna know

the same could be said for pretty much all the gods, we really only know about zeus prometheus and Poseidon during the war

Yeah, but considering how relevant Prometheus is, something had to be going on with his brother right?
