now I’m confused lol, can you re explain what you think our story is at?
^the auto aim could be kept to redirect the projectile to the next barrier, but not on a player
yeah that was a bit I was mad about, he added that explanation halfway into our argument without mentionning he did and kept telling me to just reread the entire post
I’m interpreting the issue as:
-sand user is gonna use trapeze to redirect it towards timmy
-but Timmy breaks the barrier right before this happens
-so now there’s a sandblast traveling towards the crystal blast
which, should clash regularly ngl
the situation I was talking about was :
-sand user is gonna use trapeze to redirect it towards timmy
-timmy has 3 choices :
-avoid the attack and be unable to punish it
-try to attack the sand user in wich case he will inevitably be hit by the reflected projectile
-attack the barrier in wich case he will eat the projectile if he’s not fast enough, and if he is the sand user can use a beam to damage him
So Timmy physically cannot punish the oponent without taking damage himself
If I remembered how Scratch worked I’d try make something to show my idea for trapeze bouncing
isn’t this technically a punish tho? timmy can follow up with a beam if they dodge the attack
(timmy is a paladin so he has ekrix)
Since the sand user only casted a blast, they’ll be out of endlag before timmy can confirm a beam
well then I guess that kinda just adds chaos to the whole thing since if the sand user casted a beam into the trapeze, they’d probably get hit.
I mean I guess an easy fix to this is to just make it so if your spells connect to the trapezes, you, the caster, get more endlag than usual
you could make it so a spell being reflect restarts your startup and endlag timer
I guess so, pretty simple fix then.
this does make stuff like using crash into this spell a bit of a gamble since if you’re frozen in endlag after bouncing around it could cause you some trouble
but that’s I guess why it’s skill based
also it shouldn’t aimbot on players and should bounce, lemme try make a drawing too
GOD
ok I can’t fucking draw but basically the spell should be given the symetrical angle from a axe made perpendicular to the impact point on the barrier
since if it acts like a mirror, aiming it a certain way will still send it towards your target, makes you have to place your trapezes meaningfully and aim correctly on them
on top of that, with alot of trapeze, it could quickly get very goofy with multiblasts since you’ll basically have blasts bouncing around in every direction
oml my lvl 11 died of starvation while I was arguing
why are yall still at it
hey at least it’s a civil and polite conversation now
