okay I’m just going to edit the post rq to clear up some misconceptions because y’all are giving me a headache.
Yes, I understood that after the first time you clarified it, but I still think this spell is a bad idea for many reasons I stated above, wich the other random dude complettly ignored and just started making stuff up
I got KO’d when I saw him say 80 atk speed was alot
tbh i just mistook it for a shield
well like
Pulsar, on paper, sounds like a terrible spell idea.
a blast that creates explosions rapidly as it travels.
and yet, it works.
I think you suffer from something called “close-mindedness”
I’m taking away your cooking license and promoting you to head chef.
I might be biased though.
Pulsar was indeed a flawed idea, wich is why it needed a plethora of nerfs in order to be balanced and even now, it just doesn’t fit it’s role
i jsut wnat some clarifacation on why this is a utility based spell even tho it sound so much like sheid type spell cause yk im kinda stupid and i see it as like a shield spell while other do not
Overall this idea has some thought and creativity but is just a flawed concept and is way too easily abusable
Basically you placed floating “trapeze”, any projectile produced by either you or your ally will bounce of it, gain a speed boost, and either go in direction of another trapeze or aimbot into your enemy in a rectiline trajectory.
Enemy attack can damage and eventually destroy the spell
so basically a reflective placeable shield.
man ngl fuck you with the 1 star thing your criticisms aren’t even really valid.
???
get out of my kitchen please.
Explain why they aren’t valid
What do you not understand in that phrase
i mean its an overall funny ability but it would be too op in pvp and would just be broken
and its basically a floating reflective sheild.
man ngl fuck you with the 1 star thing
I feel like I was nice lol, despite you basically assaulting me for criticising your idea I gave you 4 stars in effort and quality. I gave a 1 star in reasonability because as stated before, this spell is not a reasonable idea.
It’s a fun and interesting concept but just blatantly too abusable
Explain why they aren’t valid
your argument boils down into basically “trapeze is a bad idea because it makes some niche annoying meta build more OP and it’s abusable somehow” (which I really don’t get how it is abusable but okay)
What do you not understand in that phrase
pulsar works perfectly fine lol, sure it got nerfed a lot but the fact an idea as absurd as pulsar got into AO proves that what I’ve come up with isn’t blasphemy.
also, majority of people seem to enjoy the concept.

I didn’t mean it didn’t work as in litteraly the move is bugged, but moreso it never really got to work in it’s area denial role.

I did say the concept was pretty fun, it’s just unbalanced and abusable

Not really “niche” any competent pvper runs at least 180+ atk speed at the bare minimum, the average is probably 250, your spell just has no risk involved with it since you can backpedal, place your trapeze, and have a huge area advantage in that place.
but moreso it never really got to work in it’s area denial role.
but… it… does…?

dumbass you haven’t given me a single reason as to why it’s abusable that actually makes sense and isn’t tied to meta sweats ruining it (which they also do with pulsar and beam FYI, the actual damn stat scaling is the issue here, not the spell.)

I give up trying to explain the risk behind trapeze I think you just quite literally cannot mentally comprehend how the spell is meant to work lmao
if you want to make OP combos, you need to set them up in the first place
1 trapeze is also not able to be as effective as setting up 3 in a circuit.
