I think a great way to fix this would be mages sensing working on Hecate Essence or everyone getting one free magic reset on Full Release other than that I think the 2k is fine

Yea, the whole issue is that we’re expected to meticulously search over every inch of islands that dwarf Sameria and tower over the stepstones while there’s a 11/12 chance that there’s nothing.
If we could jump on an island, turn on sensing, search around while looting, and get a good idea if it was there or not, that drastically reduces search times.

That doesn’t even fully seem true as the magic stat sense is designed to find dark sea things and hectate is the goddess of magic so being able to sense the essence of said god should be very plausible
