Remove magic leaps
Basically aint nobody using those.
I feel like that magics should have a different type of movement ability form for example light, lightning dash or at least coating our legs in magical fluids to slide aka have faster movement. This would also make the PVP combat more entertaining for mages too other than just spamming T and spamming magic related abilities in the air.

not in pvp sure ( cause i barely ever do it ), it good for exploration
we would ( probably ) get them eventually in from of rare/lost spells, but base magic wont ever have different spells

Isnt holding T better for general exploration? The magic leap seems weak compared to it in terms of how high you can go. Thoughts on this?
From my experience of leveling almost 4 slots to max i havent seen any people use it, its just a worse T move.
It’s extra height and I use it pretty much all the time if I’m going up anywhere, it’s definitely not useless

You can T jump into magic leap.
It will never be removed and it’s a stupid idea. Flight was removed due to it conflicting with game goals, bursting mode was removed because a vast majority of the magic classes literally never used it.
Magic leap is used by almost every magic class even if they don’t always use it. Usually used for pve movement like crossing a large gap among other things
The difference is that you can do magic leaps while you’re in the air already.
Nobody uses magic leaps? I use those almost constantly man. Just because they ain’t that good for pvp don’t mean they aren’t generally useful either.
Use it in conjunction to the T jump. That’s how I always use it. Very useful for scaling the mountain on Ravenna for bounty hunting, or trying to scale anything that might be very tall like Stepstones or Shell Island.
I- what do you mean you don’t use magic leaps? What full or half magic build just… doesn’t? The only spell I use more are blasts.
As to T jump going higher—yes, but
A) You can combine the two, do hight jump into magic leap. It’s just some extra height and airtime.
B) It’s quicker than high jumping, as it has a much swifter warmup (at least with lightning). This makes it useful in PVP if you need to get into the air FAST.
C) It doesn’t take stamina.

it’s faster than pressing t
you take away magic leap and mages will drop to a d tier class no doubt
and by d i mean dogwater cuz leap is just about the best stuff mages have
