Today, is your lucky day! You’ve been selected by the great, mighty, powerful, awesome, totally amazing, and don’t forget cool Vetex Games and are granted the opportunity to make your very own magic! or fighting style, but those are kinda stinky, but if you do want to make one, change MP to FsP


However, there are a few rules which you have to abide by.
You are given 200 MP (magic points or Fighting style Points ) which you can use to customise your magic. (you can have more points if you simply ask the great, mighty, powerful, awesome, totally amazing, and don’t forget cool Vetex Games really nicely)

Every magic starts at 0.1x power, 0.1x size and 0.1x speed and doesn’t have any special abilities.
You can add 0.1 to the Power multiplier for 10 MP.
You can also add 0.1 to the Size or Speed multiplier for 5 MP.
You can also add a special ability to your magic for 20 MP. (Like a status effect or a certain interaction with terrain/players)

salt magic

colors and effects:… like salt
power 0.9x 80MP

Special ability: salted
deals 5% of attack’s damage per tick for a min, can stack. Cleared instantly by freshwater or by water magic (but not by sailor fist for obvious reasons)

colour scheme/effects: #eddeff, takes the form of wireframe shapes, the wire being coloured

special abilities: teleport, 20mp

upon an attack finishing or hitting something, mark the place where it ends. then, upon hitting a player or object, teleport them to the place you have marked, and yet again mark where your attack hit. this works for terrain as well, able to create sort of mounds you can hide behind. if you are caught in the radius of your attack, you will also teleport. in the case of clashing with another attack, only however much of the clash you manage to win will be teleported, should you not completely win the clash.

Ember Magic:

Smoldering: 20 MP
If your hp reaches 20% or below, any attack that will instantly kill you will instead leave you with 5% hp remaining. This ability recharges when you reach 50% hp.

“Fuck you” Magic
Red and black
Attack: 1 (90mp)
Size: 1 (45 mp)
Speed: 1 (45 mp)
Ability: hate; on any hit makes you and the magic user take DoT until one of you dies, strength of DoT is %HP/regen based and increases on the guy that landed a sucsessful hit (excluding the owner from the penalty)
How to get it: become revered by the community, then betray them to be granted it by noble

Star Magic

Colors/Effect: White, Orange, or Red. Projectiles have heatwave-esc effects and sparkle.
Power 1.1x 110MP
Size 1.1x 50MP
Speed x0.5 20MP

Special Status: Star-Crossed 20MP
Does 80% DoT on hit. Additionally, Star-Crossed enemies move up to 10% slower when within 20 studs/meters of a Star Magic attack, the slowdown becoming greater when the enemy is closer.

Magic

Colors and effects: You know magic? Like the stuff I’m talking about? Just think about it real quick. Boom, that’s what it looks like.

Power: Think about this. Imagine the power of magic. Just use your imagination, get creative! Boom, that’s how powerful it is.

Size: Alright, think about the volume of magic. Think about how much space magic takes up. Boom, that’s its size.

Speed: So visualize this in your mind. Visualize the speed of magic, the velocity of magic, and its speed. Boom, that’s it’s speed.

Special Abilities: Magic. It costs MP to cast. Have fun figuring out what that means.

Magic. Imagine what magic can do. Just think about the abilities it has, the things you may or may not be able to do with it. Maybe it can burn a man to death, perhaps it can create water. Maybe you want it to heal the wounds of others, or perhaps you wish to bring corpses back from the dead to do your bidding. It’s magic! You make the rules, you choose its abilities, and you pick what it can do! You make the final say! Of course, when people start pointing out inconsistencies in magic, you can always just say, “It’s magic!” Why explain the reason that the sun rises and sets in the north when you can just say “It’s magic!” Actually fixing issues may take time, but blaming it on magic takes only a few seconds! It’s like magic!

Arcane (Energy) Magic
Originally white but can appear tinted toward a specific magic (e.g. second or first magic).
Has basic magic “energy-like” glow effects, similar to light magic.

0.9x power 80 MP
1.1x size 50 MP
1.1x speed 50 MP (fun fact: these are the averages light and metal’s stats)

Special abilities: Flowing Mana 20 MP
This magic is easier to manipulate and master as it deals with raw mana directly rather than funneling it through an element. Customisation option requirements for spells are reduced by 25% (cannot be below the minimum requirement for the spell) and spell requirement costs are reduced by -30. Ultimate arts follow the -30 requirement, unless it is blast spell.

Total MP used: 200

Polychromatism
Each attack has a random colour that corresponds with a magic and variant.
Similar to arcane magic, has basic magic “energy-like” glow effects, similar to light magic.

1.0x size 45 MP
1.2x speed 55 MP

Special Abilities: Chromatic Variation 30 MP (might be busted, so I give it the higher cost)
Each projectile or attack corresponds to a random other magic, with lost and ancient level ones being rarer (e.g. 80% base, 19% lost, 1% ancient). The magic it corresponds with either modifies its stats (e.g. metal → slower and stronger, earth → higher size, shatter → higher clash rates?) or gives it a gimmick (e.g. fire → burn dot, poison → clouds and weak dot, ash → clouds, light → blindness). These effects can synergise as well, but a maximum of three status effects (excluding any effects caused by synergies like frozen) can be inflicted within 7 seconds.

Brimstone magic

appearance: searing hot hellish black/yellow/crimson stones, has 2 variants:

-sulfurous (queasy grey color with lime/yellow highlights)
-tartarean (dark black with crimson and reddish highlights)

effects: attacks explode in a cluster-bomblike fashion to release a lethal, vile gas which lasts for a short amount of time, can ignite from heat based attacks. (20 MP)

Power: 0.9x (80 MP)
Size: 1.3x (60 MP)
speed: 0.8x (40 MP)

Rune magic

looks like earth but with an energy variation (default red) and random symbols

power: 1x (90 mp)
size: 1.2x (50 mp)
speed: 0.8x (40 mp)

status effect: sealed
each stack adds a rune that orbits the target, at 5 stacks it explodes and deals 2x damage.

note: it has many variations :smiley:

after reading it, the word magic sounds really wierd

[Ancient Magic: Gluttony Magic]

Summary: Extremely evil and gluttonous version of light magic that wants to consume everything and everyone infinitely. It’s hunger never ends and is destined to betray and eat the user from the inside out.

Symbol: picture of the recycling symbol but with a mouth on the inside, it’s black and grey

Effects: pitch white colored gas/flesh like substance with several types of body parts like arms, hands, eyes, etc coming out of it. Hints of brown on the side.

Power: 0.1x/determinant (0 MP)
Size: 0.1x/determinant (0 MP)
Speed: 2.1x/determinant (100 MP)

Obtainment method: Die

Recycle Magic is obtained by dying every possible way in the game, then going to heaven to get an item, then going to hell and getting an item. Afterwards the player will go to purgatory which is an all white void with a mysterious figure. This mysterious figure will gift you with Recycle Magic, you can also shoot magic attacks off easier because of the dimensions and energies you went through.

Special Ability 1: Recycling (20 MP)

It’s power, size, and speed, relies on sacrificing objects, potions, and people and to use as ammunition which would take its properties for a limited time (e.g using a fire potion makes the magic have temporary fire properties, using a power potion gives it temporary strength, using a fish gives water and insanity). If there are no objects it will instead take the user’s health and limbs as payback, these attacks do very little damage

Special Ability 2: Natural Insanity protection (20 MP)

You are automatically given insanity protection and it can no longer kill you, there’s a lot less illusions as well. But the magic talks to you for some reason with a cute little chat bubble as well as speaking in chat, giving away your hiding position.

Special Ability 3: Soul Stealer (20 MP)

Successfully killing a player will cause the magic to envelop their dead corpse, cleaning it down to the bone. This will give the player their soul which replaces their galleon bag. The soul contains their build, level, and about 1k galleons. The player can use the dead persons soul as temporary ammunition, essentially stealing their ability (Magic = magic, Weapons = basic aura, fighting style = whatever element it is, vitality = weakened sacrifice magic. Level dictates it’s strength)

Special Ability 4: High risk (20 MP)

If the player dies via PvP then all the items/souls they’ve taken will be returned. They will also be taxed 1k Galleons, if they don’t have the galleons then items will be taken from them leading up to 1.5k galleons as interest.

Special Ability 5: Last Trick (20 MP)
When dying, the magic will lash out at everything in a radius, dealing damage to many people.
