Make your own weapon!

As previous threads of this topic said, you gotta make a weapon with it’s requirements and unique mechanics for enternaining purposes. Have fun.

The Glory
Flintlock with silver instead of brown and has gold trim
Skills:
Shoot (obviously)
Would have a small chance to fire silver and gold bullets instead of normal bullets, which both deal more damage.
30 Wep Req. Glory Shot: fire a shot made of gold, deals extra damage when you have higher health than the target (piercing shot but cooler)
80 Wep Req.Vengeance: shoot someone, throw your pistol at them, shoot them again, the throw them.
180 Wep Req. Ultimate Art: Glory: load a silver bullet, then modify the mechanism of the pistol to make the bullet shatter into millions of small pieces and shower over the area it was fired from (basically spirit rain)

what¿

Knockgun
7 musket barrels strapped to one stock

that’s a blunderbuss

…No it’s not… a blunderbuss has 1 barrel and shoots multiple pallets… and I just described what a knockgun is

uh… welllllllll idk that works like a blunderbuss

If you know, you know.

Uhh, something vetex will never add:

Chakrams.

Your m1 will 2 “charges.” Using m1 will toss one of your chakram. This will consume a “charge.” When at zero, both Chakram are deployed, and m1 cannot be used.

Your first skill will deploy one of your Chakrams to spin around you in a circle for about 3 seconds. The damage is low however. This will consume a charge.

Your second skill will be a straightforward toss that hooks around almost like a boomerang. The arc it takes will change between left and right depending which charge you are on (Charge 2 will cause it to return from the left, while Charge 1 will cause it to return from the right).

(no more skills because I don’t know anything interesting about weapons)

However, the main mechanic will be affecting the deployed skills. using m1 while the first skill is active will cause the spinning chakram to take a wider circle before returning to you (restoring a charge) and dealing more damage. If an m1 attack intercepts the second skill, the returning chakram will then change its return arc and deal increased damage if it hits.

It will be very bad because of how specific it’s hitboxes are and requiring a second input to deal passable damage when other weapons can do whatever whenever.

then someone just kill you with devastate 400!

Whip sword (image provided as an example)
due to it being a weird weapon, it would be a boss drop with a unique skill.

M1 would have 3 versions of it, all performed one after the other, each with increasing range and slightly decreasing damage.
First swing would be a regular sword M1, second one would bring the blade over your shoulder with the blade extending mid swing, and the final one would be a overhead swing.
unique skill would be Chain-wind, a modified whirlwind that acts more like Tempest, being a bit slower, dealing slightly more damage, and leaving a lingering multi-hit effect. If used mid-air, it uses a vertical version instead of horizontal, thus becoming a weird pillar/shockwave explosion hybrid.
Obviously, its base is a one-handed sword, so it can take any skill they can as well, with its defaults past Chain-wind being Tiger Rush, Flying Phoenix, Sky Splitter, and Raging Will.
Most compatible skills would cause the blade to extend somewhat, giving them middling stats between a greatsword and regular one-handed in terms of size, damage, and speed.

Hmm, this one’s really cool. I may even add it to my new unique bosses suggestion… If I EVER get approved on that role though

Edit: In overall, great idea, Keep cooking!

Make your own Spirit Weapon

Crossbows, repeating crossbows, and a giant crossbow/ballista as a strength weapon.

Calamari Cannon: An old, waterlogged blunderbuss that a tiny, mutated squid seems to have made its home. The gun occasionally emits soft clicks and purrs when held.

  • This weapon’s m1 shoots ink pellets instead of bullets, each having a chance to temporarily obscure a small part of the target’s screen with black ink, but losing the bleeding status effect.
  • Onslaught: The user dashes to the target and bludgeons them with the blunderbuss three times, sending them high into the air and then shooting them while they fall. Obscures a fairly large portion of the target’s screen.
  • Piercing shot: The user charges up a shot in the blunderbuss before shooting. This causes massive damage, and creates a small explosion of ink where it lands.
  • Sticky trap: The user shoots a slow-moving glob of ink, which bursts and creates a puddle on the ground which lasts for around half a minute. When a target is caught in the explosion or steps into the puddle of sticky ink, they lose the ability to move for a couple seconds as their feet are stuck in place.
  • Inky escape: The user holds the blunderbuss in front of them, and is fired backwards as the squid creates a large cloud of black smoke in their wake.
  • Kraken’s fury: Tentacles explode out of the end of the blunderbuss, swiping the air in a short range in front of the user. If the tentacles hit a target they are dealt large damage, being crushed and restrained by the squid. A huge amount of ink then shoots out of the gun, completely blinding the target for a few seconds as they are flung away.
