im actually gonna take this seriously this time and actually plan out what i want to do so i dont just end up quitting at the start
(btw the quality of the songs doesnt matter, im more concerned about whether or not i make them in the first place)
Month 1-2:
try to make 1 short loop (16 beats) per day
Month 3-4:
make 3 slightly longer instrumentals (1 min) a week
Month 5-6:
make 2 full instrumentals (3+ mins)
Month 7-8 (will be postponed cause ill have exams then):
start increasing the length of my instrumentals to 2 min and make 2 per week
Month 9-10
finally start making full length instrumentals (3+ mins)
Month 11-12:
by that time, i should be good enough to make at least 1 good 3+ min instrumental per week
ill start this thread properly on saturday
edit: ill be using reaper to make all my music for now

DO NOT get your hopes up. i know absolutely nothing about music
I get it’s a piano, but at any chance, do you use any program for this?..
I’m now inspired to make music too
im using reaper by cockos
and im using the numa player and sitala 1.0 VSTs
Reminds me of really old games like Warcraft I…
Petition for you to cook more
btw heres some advice with reaper if you havent used it before. youre gonna have to customise it a lot to get it to work the way you want it to
is there anyone else producing music on the forums?
no clue, never heard anyone doing it
But I probably will
A little bit late but honestly I now can’t get this out of my head.
You definitely cooked really hard on this one, may be my first favourite 20 seconds long loop track ever
The sounds on this… They create such a harmony that it’s just too satisfying to listen to
Will you at any chance make an extended version of this?
idk maybe ill extend that on month 6 dont really have the time or skills to pull that off now
kinda dissappointing that nobody else is doing it
but gl to you if you start
i think this one is alot weaker than the first 3
not really aiming for quality with these tracks, just experimenting
