SoâŚlike 5-7 years ago, i was a huge roleplayerâŚYou know, Superhero RP, Kingdom Life etc. Well, i once found the game from dev of Kingdom Life II - Northern Tales, and holy moly does it have some weapon customization!
Like, imagine us socketing stuff into guard or pommel, changing its aura etc
Imagine us socketing a blue gem into Kai saber, to turn its effect into blue, and replace a skill from a flying slash to uhâŚflying pheonix for exampleâŚOr some new skill?
this is what I imagine artisan weapons are going to be like
Honestly I would love if exotic scrolls were like exotic wep enchants, where you gain a huge buff to one star in exchange for a different substat
that would probably be more interesting to make builds out of tbh, because then you wouldnât get situations where people run 150 attack speed 100 size and 80 power with a decent amount of defence
Yeah, cuz even with the exotic nerf, the fact remains that theyâre still just a straight upgrade from rare enchants
I just wish that each type of weapon would have moreâŚDrasticâŚstat differences.
Greathamemrs are huuuuge and big damage but sloooooow.

I think I would like it if this is how it was, just not drastic differences, at most considerable differences that actually have an impact

I donât entirely grasp the sentiment that Spirit Weps taking wep slots will be bad for Knights ngl.
Canât tell if itâs cause iâve been running 130 Weps, and or only using Staff, Sunken, and Kai Saber.

warlords get their weapons AND fs

knights get their 3 slots for BOTH weapons and spirit weapons
all other weapon hybrids have 3 weapons + another form of attacking
knights would have either 1 or 2 weapons + 1 spirit weapon or the other way around
thereâs no way a knight wouldnât use a spirit weapon since they need that to imbue spirit energy into their other weapons
I believe they were referring to how every weapon build frequently ends up running the same three weapons 'cause theyâre the best choices and having spirit weapons to choose from would mix that up for knights, which is a short-term issue that will be resolved in time as more weapons and weapon skills are added
