dont worry, it’s not like one of the two (three?) racism trials that have occured on these forums
@StockSounds @anon36066099
thats true it could be a lot worse
Who’d’ve thought that letting people engage in friendly competition rather than rutheless assassination would solve every reasonable person’s problem, and harbor a better community?
I mean moochezz already corrected you on this. The displayed % doesn’t even represent anything except running speed.
This is how much of an increase 400 Agility gives to dashes vs walkspeed. TJumps are slightly higher so they reach 64% at 400 Agility.
@Meta correct me if the efficiency for Agility on dashes has been adjusted.
This is also neglecting the fact that Agility reduces momentum. Momentum is the primary driver of distance because as I said before, the distance travelled is determined by decelerating a moving object. Which means there is an exponential relationship.
Since momentum is not reduced on Agility gems, this results in even more distance travelled.
If we use TJumps as a basis (which scale better than dashes, mind you), 10 regular gems (50%) grants you the equivalent of 300 Agility, not including momentum.
10 musgravites (75%) you the equivalent of 484 Agility. 13 musgravites (97.5%) gives you the equivalent of 662 Agility, which is higher than the highest amount of Agility you can attain (630 according to wiki).
Once again, not including momentum.
So unless your concern is walkspeed, or unless you want even MORE than these values, you have nothing to complain about
74 new notifications, half of them are back to the agility crap again.
Anyways, I’m going to bring insanity V super-burst potions to the luck party ![]()
well then I stand corrected, I knew agility impacted running speed less, but I didn’t think it was that bad, so that’s definitely on me. Do you intend on potentially reposting vids with the updated speed jewels (like one with musgravites and one regular jewels)? I think that’d be interesting to get an idea of what it’s actually gonna play out like
Also forgot to mention that spacebar jump works at full efficiency as well. This means thst the numbers are even higher than the numbers I gave if you are using Dash + Jump.
I could but I only posted that video for the “bug” anyways (yes I reported this as a bug). It was released publicly because of the complaints.
Yap as always
@Divanochi what does this have to do with Movement Speed jewels?
i doubt Divanochi goes through every post in a chain. probably just grabbing the start point and leaving posts from important people or posts that are really well liked.
No idea but when moving 200 posts some of them start to blend together
Heh.
hi little something you should know! insanity 5 is broken, if you have any degree of warding, there’s no visual effects, if I recall from my testing with gel
The argument of “oh but the EP” is stupid since it becomes irrelevant in anything that ISN’T exploration. The moment combat is involved, the EP doesn’t matter, because it becomes +0. It’s QoL for exploration, much like how water breathing as a secondary effect on jewels is a QoL for underwater exploration.
By the way, as I think about it, I’m not arguing against the nerf. I think musgravite should be nerfed universally to 1.5x, not just for movement speed. However, I think any arguments based on the premiss of PVP is flawed and null in this case.
Microwave mages when the only thing their clouds scale on gets chopped in half
why tho they’re perfectly fine for the gem effects we have ingame rn
EP this, EP that
have you ever tried actually training your skill
the only reason they are overtuned on agility is cuz for some reason it scale the same for all of them instead of having them scale at reduced efficentcy
