Movement Speed Jewel Nerf

There’s a difference between using the peak values to exaggerate an effect vs using the peak values to showcase something that the game shouldn’t even remotely get close to.

there’s a difference between showing the peak values and showing unattainable values

sorry if i’m being annoying but do magic barrier dodge reflexes not use momentum for dashing? does ekrix not use momentum for dashing?
my magma magic dashes seem like they don’t have carryover speed

They are unattainable because they were nerfed?

All dodges have momentum, some less than others. Funnily enough with max Agil gems for some reason teleports had 0 momentum.

what I suggested was to keep the first nerf to jewel stats (cause obviously) but drop the second nerf to musgravites, so moochezz using that vid to counter argument is just off

Except that wasn’t actually your argument. You posted a patch note and started ragebaiting about it without explaining exactly what you wanted to achieve. That came afterwards.

In fact you say here you “don’t understand the point of nerfing it” not “it shouldn’t be nerfed too much.”

I elaborated afterwards, you just seem to really be willing to make yourself an even bigger fool than I was moments ago. Moreover, I genuingely fucking love this game and don’t get the point of ragebaiting, you people are just depriving this word of any sort of meaning

So in other words you made a ridiculous claim and started backpedalling afterwards to a more reasonable claim (albeit still based on incorrect assumptions).

If your intent wasn’t to ragebait why not open with the actual thing you intend to say?

No I did not, I pointed out that I didn’t understand the nerf I put a picture on, mind you, pretending that I should’ve said “it shouldn’t […]” is pretty funny when you just said I was illegitimate to say what I did. Never would I pretend to know better game design wise than Vetex or the other members of the team, I’m nothing more than a player who, based on their experience, shared their confusion regarding the sheer amount of nerfing for something that isn’t even gonna affect combat

so we should buff acrimony drop chances by 10 times from chests because CLEARLY it doesnt affect combat right guys

Moreover, I should mention that my values were only wrong in our conversation when I got mixed up, as my first point regarding the agility issue was that I believed that we should be expecting to at least be getting 400 agility in jewel stats when running musgravites, which is about what it was pre nerf

Yep you’re right, ridicule me, that is a very mature way to go about an argument, these claims have literally nothing in common, whether it is the field they affect, or the scale of their impact

Sure. We’ll assume this is what you meant for now.

i’m not arguing, simply stating that your argument could be used in a goofy way. “things don’t affect combat so they don’t need nerfs”

Well yeah, cause it was what I meant, again just look at the thread if you want confirmation (alternatively you could back out from your exageration of my statements)

im like 99% sure the agility gem change complainers are pve demons whining about how ‘anything fun gets nerfed by the balance team’ because the balance team also do pvp and as such they must be entirely against them because they have a secret agenda to take the fun out of the game

funny thing is fluect is one of the most reasonable testers

well yeah, you got me there, I like running fast. If the PvP is now the first thing we consider, that’s okay, really is, let’s just not make communiques that imply the very opposite

Again I apologised (damn this truly is my trial)
