ik, i just wanted to say it
I actually think this might be entirely up to opinion since fire has better arcanium and is more well rounded but plasma is statistically overall stronger with the speed and more aggressive style
wdym overall stronger, fire has more impact damage than plasma, fire has more dot duration (without making dot useless like poison does) and burning deals 30 more damage, fire has 100% power (btw a full glass arcanium build gives you only around +10 power but you lose -150 defense lel) and burning has a unique synergy with ash!!! (petrify + 25% more damage omggg), it has more size and you can barely note any difference beetwen plasma and fire speed.

By 0.025, if youâre looking for a DOT magic, you wonât be going for direct impact. While burning does have 5% more total damage, damage per tick is lower. It really depends on personal preference - a quick dot (that you can reapply more if you hit consistently) or a slightly longer one that gives more total damage.
I canât defend plasmaâs Arcanium, that shit needs to be changed. Power+Speed instead of fucking Power+Intensity, please Vetex.
If weâre allowing synergies for this argument, a similar case can be made for explosion. Hitting a charred target with plasma gives a 20% buff and applies petrified, which gives a higher boost to Explosion as compared to fire (10% fire, 20% explosion).
The difference between the speed of fire and the speed of plasma is the same difference as Crystal and Metal. Actually, a bit more than it.
Ugly? Sure, plassma has pretty poor effects. However I disagree that it doesnât match with other magics - Red plasma can match decently with Fire, Ash, Poison, Explosion, and warm wind if youâre half blind. Purple Plasma can match with purple poison, I guess? Purple Acid?

Also, fire canât clash for shit. It only has advantages on ash, wood, glass, and snow. Itâs also really really basic. Itâs one of the two wizards paths in BTD5, which is saying something.
Overall, theyâre both great magics. You seem to glaze fire and hate plasma a bit too much though, considering theyâre both heat-based magics with fast DOTs that can ignite plasma clouds and have methods to proc petrified.

not if ur a water user 
even water users have to stop and charge to clear, for shorter DOTâs like fire and plasma its not worth stopping and risking getting hit again
you can press shift for 0.1 seconds not a full magic energy charge to clear a dot
the energy wont charge if your moving
you need to stop moving and click shift
thatâs why poison sucks on mage, omg guys i deal 8 damage for 20 seconds such op!!!

on conjurer is not visible, even on mage both magics has the same speed on spells like beam and self explosion for example

ye it looks cool, but if you try to match it with other magics in a mage file, it looks poopâŚ
plasma is like those neon color shoes with shiny lights that looks cool but you will never go outside with it
by the way the reason dot is worse than impact damage is because you also kinda⌠regen while the dot happens and meanwhile impact damage just does the damage the silly dot could immediately
additionally HOW are you guys hitting another attack in the 3 seconds of plasma as plasma mage compared to shadow magic which can just hit 2 attacks and do barely less damage without the stupid time frame lecture me this
hey uhm i uh have a confession to make :3
is not worse, dot allows you to be more versatile, to take your time to do other actions like dodge or parry cus you negate the passive regen of your target, plasma and fire are at the same level, but both has different play style, plasma gimmick is being more faster but less size so you can spam attacks and applies synergies (thatâs why has less impact damage), fire gimmick is being more a⌠balanced magic (?), decent speed, dot and a very great size too
magics like shadow the only gimmick is substats stack, you know, 200 attack speed or 200 size, those things
