So I just checked out Vetex’s patreon a few minutes ago and found out there’s an unblurred post that shows the new HUD layout:
Overall, this is such a huge upgrade and it looks so damn clean! Now Idk if this is allowed but since patreon showed the unblurred pic publicly, I thought I could make this topic.

lol it is good but I’m so used to big hp bar.
Like, it’s good for hp to be bigger because it’s kinda important to know.
(Conversely, hotbar is less important if you already know what’s in it for example.)
Granted I’ll probably get used to it though.
I like the new look though.
Tiny menu buttons though.
I mean ngl, it’s better than the HUD clutter we have currently and it’s easier and faster to look at your status since it’s centered to your screen. Although it is smaller, more screen vision is still a huge plus.
All that’s left is to hope that the chat system and ui doesnt clutter the screen like we have previously.

The entire screen is lopsided now, you can see from the image that it is heavily packed on the right side whereas there’s barely anything on the left side.
The only good thing from this change is that there’s no more ship toggle which implies we can spawn our boats from anywhere now.

remember that the player list is still there, it doesnt have much impact since the server vetex is in is empty, but when it fills up it’ll be a problem.
