New models for Arcane Odyssey

@Sensei, my brother is willing to make models for vetex to get his name out in the community. I have already made a post about it here, but I want to see if people will actually want this in-game.

How much should he be paid?
  • 25 Robux per model
  • 50 Robux per model
  • 100 Robux per model
  • 200 Robux per model

Reason to add/change

Pros
  • He’s a decently good modeller and is willing to take any positive price so long as he is credited
  • He’s worked on games before and is a scripter also.
  • New models so vetex won’t have to use Roblox models
  • Hiring more help could be useful.
  • Unique models for weapons could be a good selling point
Cons
  • Would need to get paid

its very pog in my opinion. the weapons would look lit, perhaps the magical attacks would look cool too

very nice models. only thing thats bugging me about the models shown above is that the shield looks a bit too small compared to say, the bow or sword

Those prices are far too low for the quality of that work, regardless of who you’re applying for work for you deserve more than that.

Hi, @Kosmo. The models look nice, but they seem a bit too cartoony for the direction the game is heading. What I’d recommend instead, Is have your brother make a place full of their creations and advertise from there. They also seem to be selling themself short on their pricing, as 200 at max per model is very very underpriced. Let them get more experience in their craft and have them find a better opportunity for their skills. With all the new games always surfacing on the platform, opportunity for growth is always available. Wish you both well.

Like I said above, my brother is more interested in getting his name out so he can actually get some fame for his own projects.

These are 30-minute models he made, he just wants to know if people would agree and accept the idea of remodelling. This is more like a test

If he wants to advertise services he should not be using 30 minute models as evidence. You wanna give a good impression on any possible showcase. I do not speak for Vetex on this, but I do not think those would be a good set to showcase on asking for a position.

How high poly do you think the models should be? (roblox item models are around 1k-2k triangles, and my brother usually does 10-20k triangle models)

Due to Roblox’s Limitations, Modelers have to find their own sweet spot for their triangle count.

oh I know this guy, I remember him joining the Discord a few days ago
anyways, they’re nice models, but they don’t really fit AO’s style from what I’ve seen so far in development updates. I’ll vote for the effort though.
