Prevent suggestions for the game from being made anywhere other than the suggestions category. My reasoning for this rule is to prevent people like mal from creating low effort suggestions that flood the game discussion category.
But what about people who actually put thought into their ideas and put them in game discussion for feedback?
I know Mal/Loreing is flooding game discussion with terrible and poorly though out ideas, but I don’t think it’s game to erase all suggestion-like posts.

Maybe a category for suggestion discussion could be created?
You can already discuss suggestions that have been suggested in the suggestion catagory, though? As long as you are trust level 2.
And if you want to discuss an already made suggestion but aren’t trust level 2, you can probably post in game discussion with a link to the suggestion.
If there is suggestions to the game being posted in general make sure to flag it.

While there are obvious bad listy suggestions, there’s also plenty of good threads that encourage discussion of the game.
“Discussion of a possible change to the game” is a pretty broad description that covers most the content in the category. I think the category would be worse off if it had to avoid discussing ideas for the game, and #suggestions wouldn’t enjoy all the vague “buff this”, “nerf that” suggestions that wouldn’t be able to incubate in discussion first.
A discussion about an item is not the same as a suggestion.
