the issue here is that new players may think something like powerful being on equal footing to one of the new enchants in terms of how hard they are to obtain, opening the door to confusion when they aren’t getting those enchants from regular sealed chests or to other players scamming them for their tier 2 enchants by offering these new tier 1s
i do concede that wikis can probably clear this up, but when the solution to a problem is “go to an outside source” that’s not really a great solution
Maybe add “Can you tell me about scrolls?” dialogue option to all alchemist npc (and Enizor before he joins our team)? They would explain to us what are scrolls, what do they do, how to obtain them (won’t mention Dark Sea, will just say “in some unknown but dangerous places”) and what are technique/spell scrolls
that’s not the point, the point is that because there’s exotic enchant scrolls that are from the dark sea and not from the dark sea, players may get confused that the ones from both sources are on equal footing in terms of value or actual rarity when that isn’t the case or get confused when they aren’t getting powerful scrolls from regular sealed chests for example, and as mentioned before this can also open the door to scamming if someone offers a resilient scroll for a powerful scroll
It might be a problem for like, the first 3 days when it gets released
then people will find the meta build and it will get its price set in stone for afew months
Haven’t you forgotten to count in rare-tier scrolls? They are included too, because even with luck 4, when you can only get scrolls from dark sealeds, you will still be able to get rare-tier
And if you are without any luck effect, all other items are joining the chat. And I highly doubt a cotton sailcloth and a powerful scroll have equal drop chances
rare-tier scrolls should really not be in the same pool as exotic scrolls, like what’s the point of spending hours in the dark sea only for half of the scrolls you get to be rare tier.
