You got the Extremely Reflective Metal Cube! It’s useless, but it’s neat to look at the sky’s reflection through it.
After that little event, you decide to check and see if there’s anything under this island, carefully, of course. Don’t wanna fall into that void.

You think you need some exercise, so you decide to jump off this rock here.
You jump off the rock, causing it to sink into the ground with a “Click!” noise.
Weird, it’s kinda like you activated a switch or something-
And you did! Jumping off that switch, cleverly disguised as a rock, caused some kind of monolith to rise from the ground…
You move in closer for further examination. At first you thought there might be a hole to insert something in, maybe that Extremely Reflective Metal Cube you got earlier, but there’s nothing. Weird!

And behold, a brand new island rises from the void!
Except…there’s one problem…
It’s too far away to reach! Maybe if you were a pro obbyist, you could pull off some sort of sick jump to get over there, but you’re, well, a noob. Guess you’re stuck here, at least until you can figure out a way to get over there…

Grab the apple, pull out a seed, plant the seed, wait 100 years, (thats actually how long it can take) burn the new trees roots, set out the fire, and use it as a bridge.
