Ok scenario time

Interesting, if magic really does as much “damage” as it does in the game and there’s no game movement or anything then I’d say weapons win, unless we have realistic damage from each different magic, then it depends.

Better than not dying tho

you’ll get sluggish, your eyes will start getting redder
things will be harder to do
you’ll be an easier target than someone who took the risk of sleeping.

The in-game damage is probably not the same as the lore damage. Vetex seems to keep game balancing pretty separate from the lore, considering he said the PK would probably die if you shot them with a gun, yet in arcane adventures, they could survive multiple shots from a gun. It’s similar to how in star wars, getting stabbed with a saber usually means you’re defeated, even if you survive, but every star wars game has health bars and sabers only take a portion of the health. If the lore was different from the game in any aspect, vetex wouldn’t sacrifice gameplay to make it more accurate to the lore, so we can’t assume that everything has the in-game stats

I meant on the way back down.

Im a bit late to this, but

I think if I had to, I’d pick gravity magic and set myself up near a lake or body of water, preferably with a river attached to it as well. Flowing water gives me a place to drink from, so thatd benefit survival.

As for my survival strategy from you guys, I just try to keep water between us, and if you want to fight me, I’d use gravity magic to pull you over the water, then use it to just keep crushing you down until you drown.

I don’t really want to fight unless I have to, not really the type of person to get into physical fights, never made sense to me

I assume you haven’t read the previous 500+ messages. Most of it isn’t important, but the topic-maker also gave some new info that they should probably edit into the OP like this

I read like 15 messages if that counts towards anything.

Anyways it sounds like enough to make my plan work

I don’t think I can still apply. But fire magic would be nice lol. If I could still can though. Fire or light.

Light to simply blind people and to get an advantage in battle. And for its speed. Doubt any human would be able to react to it. Plus it’s still powerful enough to kill people very quickly. And plus blinding people is just great. And it would be useful at night. But anyways idk if y’all are still accepting so if y’all are light is for me

Light magic travels at like, 75 studs per second or something idk there has to be a measurement of some sort tho

Bro it sill fast enough to the point where if I blind ed, someone with the sheer intensity of it
I doubt anyone could dodge it. Also even then I still doubt anyone has a reaction time to dodge it if I was close enough

idk anything about the hunger games so i’ll just choose:

  1. shadow and just hide, shadow users’ aura/energy are harder to detected (webcomic) lore-wise iirc

  2. wind and just knock/push everyone away while also using it to escape

  3. wood, maybe make traps and sht, could also create camouflage ig

  4. light, i am very bad at aiming, both ingame and irl

  5. gravity, telekinesis is useful for many thing

  6. wave, self-explain

  7. life healing, self explain, could also make people more likely to not fcking kill me on sight cause useful and sht

  8. flash, basically light but even brighter, wonderful

in short: avoid direct, or any fighting at all, probably team up with 1 or 2 people, maxium ~5

Team with 2 healing users
They’ll be able to heal each other and you ez Bootleg life

A basis for alliances might be synergies or magics that cover each other’s weaknesses. In that case, promethean fire would be bad for making allies, because you can combo with anyone. That means that no one can trust you to be their ally, because you don’t really need them, since if they die, you will still be able to combo with whoever is around. Trust in an alliance depends on mutual necessity
