Ok scenario time

I would probably use blaze magic to cook my food and since blaze is like fire but actually really fast and conductive I can sabotage people in all kinds of ways

tou get to live ig

to live. that’s it.
They do this to sacrifice 23 children every year.

probably not. the hunger games is just about the government controlling people by forcing chldren to fight to the death.

oh. maybe. Sure, you can keep your magic then.

I doubt that the balancing wouldn’t be enough, but even then, if your magic is good enough to allow you to fight multiple opponents at once, towards the end, people will start actively trying to get rid of you, and they can take shifts sleep-depriving you, until you can’t fight anymore. They could cause explosions in your general vicinity, set fire to the area around you, or otherwise feign a serious attack in order to prevent you from resting

Like with the sleeping strategies thing, im not saying those are actually good examples to do in this situation, I just mean that that’s the concept. The sleeping strategies I mentioned earlier (except for having allies) can all be countered by sleep-depriving strategies, but they could still work early on, because people wouldn’t spend time and energy gradually weakening you unless they’re guaranteed to get the kill, whereas towards the end, when fewer people are left, if you survive that long, people may target you simply because you’re a threat

I cast my sand magic to create a delicious snack :yum:

I mean I guess sand is a good option

you can make a house with sand

A counter might be a gravity user and a blizzard user. The gravity user would use gravity to compress some snow from the mountain into a giant snowball that can be carried, or moved with gravity magic, while the blizzard user would use freezing winds, ice and snow to keep it cool. Then if you tried to attack them, they would put some of the natural snow on themselves, and heat based attacks would melt the snow, making vetex smite you for breaking the rules. It could also be used to prevent you from burning down things, or starting uncontrolled fires. In addition, the blizzard user could blow some magic snow onto the whole area around them, before sprinkling some of the natural snow on the ground. This way you wouldn’t know which snow not to melt because it looks identical, so there would be a large area that you are afraid to use any magic on

problem: a gravity and blizzard user could never really team up because I don’t think they would realize a synergy like this even exists

???

(he is unaware that I use barrage and zone spells)

Say you shot a blast of blaze at them, but they had some of the snow from the mountain on them. Then if your blast hits, it will probably melt the snow, which breaks the rules

that makes this combo even more effective against you

@Randomness there’s a loophole are we allowed to melt magic based snow?

wait actually most of the map is sand

I an just make a giant sandstorm whenever I’m attacked at high speeds and blind my way

I meant that they could bring natural snow from the mountain and preserve it using blizzard magic

okay this is also another loophole

@Randomness are we allowed to melt snow that goes too far from the mountain? I mean like this is ridiculously cheese but it is a weird way to use the system against pretty much every single heat based user it’s kinda dumb

I mean as long as you don’t create a massive flood and kill everyone that’s fine

@lookingforabargain loophole got patched so the strat doesn’t work anymore

Someone else will probably burn down the forest by accident first. Every attack by a heat magic user is a fire hazard, except for with weapons

I’m gonna use water or wave instead :man_shrugging:
