Open World PvP is a problem

But to get back on topic.

Roblox is an inherently social game (as it is advertised) therefore anything involving player interaction will increase a games lifespan by a lot. For an RPG game like AO it just so happens that PvP is the best way to do that.

Vetex can remove PvP but he’ll have to make another experience similar to PvP to make up for the loss in replayability.

Or he can revamp PvP and spend a bunch of dev time that could’ve been used elsewhere.

In a way PvP is kinda necessary to the games survival yet he doesn’t make PvP updates to fix this stuff. This is why I will glaze the agility removal since it is a net positive for PvE and PvP players

Me personally I’m ignoring the ganking side of the argument since other people said what I was gonna say and I just can’t make myself care about dying in a video game regardless but obviously some people do care so whatever I guess

Me personally if PvP got removed then replaced with something else I say it should be some weird multiplayer competitive pirate card games. Gonna farm the Sols RNG players with this one.

I can’t think of literally anything else to replace PvP with that would fit a magic rpg fantasy pirate game. I assume Vetex can’t either which is why PvP is here to stay

I have just come up with the solution to the pvp problem. Anyone who is in combat should get a button to “forfeit” and doing so would make them lose renown/infamy galleons, giving them to the attacker just like if the attacker were to claim your bounty, with the exception that forfeiting will not result in your character dying and neither you or the attacker will be able to attack eachother for 5 minutes.
