vetex should just make it so instead of hunts having a 5 minute cd they should have a global cd on the same person for like idk 10 minutes, instead of having a cd for taking hunts cuz thats just bs
Yes it does, pvers have no reason to care for infamy or renown, and the loss of galleons is very little. The main complaint is that pvp interrupts whatever it is you’re doing, and having to come back from spawn is always annoying.
this makes hunts entirely unfun for the pvp side
this makes people who just wanna fuck with pvers still able to harass them, 5 minutes isnt shit
It should send them to jail but once they get out it just puts them back in the island they were at.

okay clans are a pvp thing and if you arent in a clan then theres no reason for you to get hunted
Plenty of time to just wrap up quickly what they’re doing and then switch servers, most gankers would leave before the 5 minutes anyways.
at that point just take the combat log or run and log

Its less that:
“X person killed me how dare they”
and more about the massive time waste attached to dying unexpectedly.
If somebody jumps and kills you in the bronze sea, you’re back to the most barren corner of the map where there’s near nothing.
If somebody jumps you while you’re grinding sealed chests, there goes all of that.
If you’re grinding a boss, back to the other side of the map you go.
The PvP being unfun to begin with doesn’t help but having to spend 10 minutes sailing every time somebody decides they want to be an asshole is the biggest problem.

Dark sealed chests are much much much worse in this discussion.
It goes from wasting 10 minutes of the target’s time to wasting hours of their time.
People on new files, who actually get targeted the most by gankers

Option to cap renown when 
You have to worry about it literally every run, you can make it less likely, but its still all up to luck.
maybe not go to the most open dock in sameria or whatever then
