Opinion on music?

you should listen to the album called “sharks” by the artist shark
it’s written by a shark about a shark trying to survive shark mob crimes

One thing I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time

All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away

It’s so unreal
Didn’t look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Tryin’ to hold on, did-didn’t even know
I wasted it all just to watch you go

I kept everything inside and even though I tried
It all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end it doesn’t even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end it doesn’t even matter

One thing, I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To remind myself how I tried so hard

In spite of the way you were mockin’ me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I’m surprised it got so far

Things aren’t the way they were before
You wouldn’t even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end

You kept everything inside and even though I tried
It all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end it doesn’t even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end it doesn’t even matter

I’ve put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There’s only one thing you should know

I’ve put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There’s only one thing you should know

I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end it doesn’t even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end it doesn’t even matter

Lets see… (Also why doesn’t everyone put them in one of those dropdown thingies instead of extending the website to be 2 miles long) (I don’t know how to do that though so guess it will be 3 miles now)

M2U - Quo Vadis
Pretty nice; I don’t quite know what I would say this music genre is, but it’s a chill song

M2U - Gypsytronic
Again, don’t know what It sounds like, Maybe something that would play at a resturaunt, indicated by the picture (btw what the heck is the person to the left of the dog eating), Overall, nice song

M2U - Masquerade
Shockingly a song that I AGAIN DON’T KNOW THE GENRE OF I’M SO BAD WITH MUSIC AGH. So I do think this one is again good, I’m probably gonna stop putting essays in the next few that way this doesn’t take hours

M2U - White Rose
Nice song, going with a nice picture (also is that a cat or a dog next to the girl I genuinely cannot tell lol (still a good pic)). 8/10.

Whatever this one is
Restricted :skull:

M2U - A Bella!
Ok vocalish song, 6.5/10; not bad

M2U - H.O. Wling
Nice - 8/10

On to Audiomachine: I Will listen to all of them because I have listened to everything beforehand and don’t want to give up that streak now

Audiomachine - New Winter
8.99999/10: only thing holding me back is that I don’t wnat to add it to my playlist which I usually add 9-10s to :skull:

Audiomachine - Giuseppe
“Beautiful Orchestra Music” in the title describes it well - 8/10

Audiomachine - Broken Baroque
Once again, “Intense Dramatic Music” describes it well for me. I’m getting my work done before I even start :fearful: - 7.5/10

Audiomachine - Obscurity
Oh it’s me! Obscurity! Anyways, 7.5/10

Audiomachine - Presto Agitato
Presto: I rated this a 7.5/10!

Besides that awful joke, Time for real gaming :sunglasses: (jk it has genshin :skull:)
(also undertale fanuniverses :skull:)

Genshin Impact - Azhdaha Battle
Speaking of Genshin, it actually has p good music… 7.5/10. Only thing from a 8-8.5 is that it’s Genshin Impact

GENSHIN IMPACT - Dragonspine
Why does this game have good music - 7.5/10 for the same reasons (Genshin Burning Crater)

ReX - Magnetism
7/10

Sonic - Mirage Saloon Act 2
Yes. 9/10. Already heard it and am glad to hear it again :sunglasses:

Sonic - City Escape
ehh I am not a huge fan of vocal sonic music, although out of them, Escape from the City is my personal best (which doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good). 6.5/10

Starset - It has Begun
7.5/10 p good

One Shot - Phosphor
I love this game, have only seen one playthrough in the form of a game showcase video game, and haven’t played it myself but I still always have liked it. Extra point for that alone. 8.5/10

Imma publish this amount for now; I have to go :expressionless:

what about movies?

eheheheehhee

eh

glad u enjoy them and i also listen to the popular metal gear revengeance songs but felt like it wouldn’t be neccessary to put here per se since they pop off and who hasn’t heard them at least once by this point

So you actually listen and give your rating on all of them? Well don’t mind me bundling all the songs I’ve definitely plugged on here before and a few more for your enjoyment.

The Dream Theater Drop

The intro on this one is heavenly (pun intended)
Dream Theater - On The Backs Of Angels (Audio) - YouTube

This one got me into them in the first place, still a fun one to come back to
Under a Glass Moon - YouTube

Incredibly fun song, but also very beatiful
Barstool Warrior - YouTube

I used to think this one was overhyped, but boy was I wrong
Metropolis - Part I: "The Miracle and the Sleeper" - YouTube

A newer one where they exoerimented with an 8 string guitar and you had to know it from the very start, goes hard and I’m a sucker for the whole “you have awakened a great power long thought gone” trope which it sort of embodies
Dream Theater - Awaken The Master (Official Video) - YouTube

Simply listen to this one, it’s great
Breaking All Illusions - YouTube

An interesting story told through a song, also sounds great
The Count Of Tuscany - YouTube

Makes you feel like you’re being pushed to your limit climbing a mountain and finding the meaning of life in the process, which is personally relatable
A View from the Top of the World - YouTube

Saved the greatest (literally, it’s the longest and thus biggest one) for last, I hope you’re ready for a rollercoaster; if so, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride in its entirety (no skipping around or giving up midway through!)
Octavarium - YouTube

The Haken Handful

Not much comments for these guys, their songs are a different sound and feel than the previous ones and amazing in unique ways, listen to these and hear for yourself

Veil - YouTube

Nil by Mouth - YouTube

HAKEN - Pareidolia (OFFICIAL VIDEO) - YouTube

HAKEN - 1985 (Album Track) - YouTube

HAKEN - The Endless Knot (Lyric Video) - YouTube

The Buckethead Beginners Bundle

The man of a hundred albums, litteraly. I’m not sure of the exact number, but I believe it is somewhere above 300.

With so much material you can find a variety of different sounds throughout his works.

Most people first find BH through one of these two, I personally heard Soothsayer first and Whitewash some while later
Buckethead - Soothsayer - YouTube

Whitewash - Buckethead - YouTube

Definitely has the vibe that it will put you to sleep, but it’s certainly not boring
Buckethead - Padmasana - YouTube

This one is simply cool, it has some weird part at the end, but you can just skip it
Welcome To Bucketheadland - YouTube

Another more widely known one, I believe it appeared in one of the older guitar hero games or another similar game I’m just a bit too young to know much about.
Buckethead - Jordan HQ (HD) - YouTube

There were a few others I wanted to put here but I couldn’t find them on youtube at all, oh well…

The Steve Vai Special

Nothing much to say about these, it’s Steve and this is kinda how he makes his songs

Steve Vai - "Tender Surrender" - YouTube

Steve Vai - For the Love of God (2021 Upscaled Version) - YouTube

I Would Love To - YouTube

Erotic Nightmares - YouTube

The Wildcards

A couple more I couldn’t group by author or genre

The pink and green album cover is about how it feels to listen to this one, if that makes the least bit of sense
Universal Mind - YouTube

This one is just crazy and I kinda love it for that
Animals As Leaders - "CAFO" Prosthetic Records - YouTube

The one song I like that for some reason isn’t on Deezer, but other Polyphia and Jason Richardson songs are, as to why exactly - it’s beyond me
Polyphia | Aviator feat. Jason Richardson (Official Music Video) - YouTube

Old but gold, the most interesting part - the guy who made it was younger than I am now when he recorded this
Jason Becker- Altitudes - YouTube

The song that led me on the journey of discovering all of the ones mentioned here, the live version is the way to go with this one
Glasgow Kiss (Live at the Tokyo Forum, Tokyo, Japan - May 2005) - YouTube

Somewhat of a change of pace compared to the others, but the live version is preferable here as well
Eric Johnson - Cliffs Of Dover - Live - YouTube

Possibly the craziest of them all, the “live” version, which is from some instructional DVD from the 80s I think, is even crazier than the original so seeing a human not only play something like this but go even further beyond with flexing on top of it is a sight to behold in adittion to the music
Speed Kills by Michael Angelo Batio - YouTube

Too bad, I already made the list before seeing this, so I’m posting it anyway
