Do you guys think ancient magics should be op asf? because to be fair they’ll be really rare and aren’t some of them just like different versions of curses or just a weaker variant? Anyways, I think that they should be really op or maybe only a specific amount of people can have them across the servers, kinda like devil fruits ig. But I mean if you die, the person that killed you can take the ancient magic (its a choice, they don’t have to if they don’t want to.) But I think it would be cool to watch a Ancient user kill or fend off multiple players trying to get their grubby hands on their magic. I think the idea would be fair because maybe the ancient magics are hard to use or they have downsides maybe so that only skilled players can really keep them, as if a newer or unskilled player got it they might die immediately and maybe if you’re not awakened you take damage every time you use the ancient because the magic energy it just too strong for you. Also make the Ancients be able to alter the terrain easily, for example using shatter at the water will make waves or a whirlpool. Is this a good idea or no?
I don’t really care how powerful they are. As long as they’re balanced with everything else at the time of addition, and look really cool, then I’m good.

A that point in gameplay, there shouldn’t be any unnatural drawbacks just to be powerful, like literal drawback for example.

Well, Lost Magics are inherently more powerful, and upgraded fighting styles can be assumed to be the same. Why would this be any different?
this would create the largest divide between PvP and pve players then I would think even possible. Countless PvErs could be grinding for hours, and then have their reward stolen in a 30 second 2v1.
