Has anyone figured out navy in hoi4?
I’ve been using cheats to try and figure out how it works and yeah no I still don’t have any fucking idea, I prefer the eu4 strat for navy where you just refuse to fight portual
Most people who I know that play hoi4 only use cheesy navy or just spam air to beat navy.
I got stellaris 2 days ago and now im permanently stuck in the rts abyss (i have no idea how to win or play stellaris well send help)

I have 400+ hours and I am still bad.
(I am still using only corvettes and stat checking the ai)
(Wait I haven’t played in a hot minute I forgot frigates exist now)

When I play stellaris it results in me kicking the ai’s ass but then forcing me to peace for nothing because “war exhaustion” and i havent found out how to avoid that

It’s unfortunate how bad the AI is, but also very funny at the same time. Also im pretty sure hoi4 is the only paradox game without war exhaustion.
Gonna learn how to mod that in one day
Only stellaris though, war exhaustion isn’t a huge concern for me in eu4 and I die too quickly in hoi4 for war exhaustion (or low war support i guess) to be my main issue 
I was teaching myself the ship combat but the ship combat mechanics got altered so now I gotta learn again.
Best way ive found is to just not lose
lol kinda. Yeah just take less damage than your opponent per battle and it works in your favor (forcing more surrenders as opposed to status quos)

Uhh, some people say that you can join multiplayer games to try dlcs before buying but, well, Stellaris is a little time-consuming to multiplayer.
I do not have a vpn and prefer to keep my internet working

eu4 ontop i love eu4 with all my heart and soul
