No bypass is ever permanent for an anti-exploit system, as long as it is being maintained.

I heard about Roblox hardware banning people for exploiting does this not solve anything for exploiters in AO?
Excluding the now patched trade exploit, how quick are you to accept or decline your trades? Do you no read them? Best solution to this would be a player trade blacklist, if someone keeps spamming trades to you then you can blacklist them. Perhaps if enough players blacklist a potential scammer they get marked to where the game asks you “are you sure” whenever you want to trade with them.
It stops people who use free exploits

i presume since AO has an economy all it takes is one weirdly obsessed and rich script kiddie to flood the market with valuable items
how much does the cheapest laptop that can run AO cost?
edit: WAIT HOLD ON can’t you only wipe the items that were originally owned by hackers?
Ah so what this means is that once I finally play AO all the gear I was gonna use for progression/money as well as my sunkens are gonna be gone? Sounds like a wonderful change, can’t wait to lose hundreds of hours of grinding

I’ve heard that if you hadn’t used the file since wom the items stayed but I’m not sure how true this is

I believe that is correct, I pulled out my old character from the fourth WOM open test and still had all my level 40 gear.
I assume it’s either not being wiped anymore, or the level that the character was before AO still affects whether or not things were wiped
it already asks are you sure, at least I think it does for the person sending it?
It asks you if you want to accept it or not, not if you are absolutely sure. Like I said, this would apply to players with a low trade score, so if you get scammed by a spam trader or they are spam trading you can once per account (ideally IP) give them a positive or negative vote.
