why yes, it’s your first match in a year during the last few minutes of a Phestival with the mindset of “phighting bad grr fucking kill anyone who plays it they’re all groomers this game sucks I hate it it sucks ass I must win this argument and convince the people that like the game that it actually sucks and you should be put in a facility for liking it”

Which is literally the purpose of game testing, but you wouldn’t know that!
you only look for flaws. You don’t have fun if you’re trying to ding the game on having a particle effect from the tricking skateboard obscure your vision for 0.01 seconds.

boombox is fairly useful when played right (which is hard given his skill floor) but he’s not the god of phighting this man makes him out to be
out of all phighters in phighting the top tier phighter is considered to be of all things Subspace, and he’s not even that powerful
yea man boombox is just, really not fun for me
the tempo thing is annoying (especially in bad servers) and the shield does almost nothing to help
I enjoy medic since the gameplay loop is really easy (shoot people = silly haha funny poop) and he’s basically an interesting sort of “rushdown/support”

medkit is considered to be the more combat oriented healer out of the healing supports, doing more damage than others (other than vinestaff I think who has a surprisingly large dps but that rarely comes into play), and being more focused on one phighter

Medic feels like the only thing somewhat close to speed mage in AO
I guess slingshot kind of fits this role too but I’m not really sure how to use slingshot effectively yet
I’ve been experimenting with rocket a little too, DO NOT recommend hyperlaser, that shit is atrocious, suskcs because hyperlaser has arguably the coolest skin in the game (seraphim)
hyperlaser only good if you’re teamates are good
if the bio targets you instead of the banhammer on point, goodluck having fun
is scythe good btw
as someone who has never seriously tried understanding scythe’s moveset i can say for certain he is basically sword and bio combined
