Power Scaling Durza

Got bored, so I decided to power scale Durza from Arcane Adventures to the best of my ability. Here it is Power Scaling Durza - Google Docs

Update : I forgot Absorption curse is external as external curses are different than elemental curses as they do not allow you to phase through physical attacks. However since he shed his physical body to become an immortal dark spirit, logically he will still phase through any physical attacks, just not with his curse.

I decided to go with continent level durability instead of multi-continent level for Durza and Theos since giving them muti-continent level durability seems like a bit of a stretch to me logically as Durza did not totally annihilate the continents, only splitting them apart into islands thus I decided that continent level durability is more likely. Still you can argue on this.

durza is just stupidly strong

His curse allows Durza to phase through any physical attacks thus every physical weapon like firearms do not work on him. Only magic attacks can hurt him.

Small nitpick but it wasn’t necessarily his curse that allowed him to shed his physical form; The absorption curse is external, so unlike elemental curses he’d normally be susceptible to being hit by physical attacks. It was probably his dabbling in the dark arts that gave him this ability

didn’t he absorb a bunch of elemental curses tho

I think absorbing curses with the absorption curse is in some way different than possessing multiple curses in the way a supercurse user does

Assuming that you are referring to when Vetex said, “if you shot them with a gun”, Vetex was talking about the Peacekeeper.

Theos power scaling when

put him logically at least around peak human to superhuman as they are more likely.

He could’ve had speed magic though. Although this may not bring him more than peak superhuman.

(I’m gonna go more off numbers then continental or planetary since those terms get rly messy sometimes, so I’ll be a bit more pragmatic and less simple on scaling.)

To blow the entire Earth to bits you’d need roughly 10^32 joules’s worth of kinetic energy, and since Durza blew out a chunk of the Earth (let’s say 1/3 for a good estimation) we can divide the number of joules by 3, and 32/3 = 10.6 (or 11 roughly.)

Durza released at least one hundred billion joules (or less) of kinetic energy when he exploded, though I’m not rly sure on his planet-shaking magic beam he threw at Theos once. It is a bit weird too as he struggled to fight Theos and apparently A.G commanders (though the commanders were curse users, it was still weird) despite his various magics and curses, but I’d say he’s fairly powerful.

Speed is a bit unclear for Durza, but he did have the Lightning Curse which could put him at 270,000 MPH according to mteooffice.gov (most reliable source I found).

Durza is literally just pure energy so anything non-magical goes through him, though he’d probably be mostly invulnerable in his human form too because of his curses. Overall, Durza’s stats should be:

Power: Can exert at least one hundred billion joules

Speed: 227,000 MPH (applies to combat as well)

Durability/Invulnerability: Immune to physical damage and maybe lightning and some other elements? (because curses?)

Additional abilities: Necromancy, elemental generation/manipulation, immortality, intangibility, and can give or equip any of the dead he raises with magic or curses.
