I imagine scythe weapons would have curved/sweeping attacks as their main focal point. Maybe something similar to selino?
That makes me wonder about why bows are so mundane despite requiring strength (like swords). All we got with them is: ābunch of arrows shot at the air in a very small time frameā, ābunch of arrows shot at someone in a very small time frameā, or āone arrow thatās launched with so much power that it breaks the bow (how does it even gets launched then bro

The player just breaks the bow over their knee and throws the arrow like a dart/spear
The scythe was, historically, a shockingly common weapon despite being mostly impractical because it functioned as an easy to wield (if imbalanced) polearm that everyone at the time had, especially used is peasant uprisings
its use even lead to some weapons being based off of scythes modified to be more usable in battle like the Russian war scythe (similar to a glaive)
the conclusion to this rant is that i donāt care about scythes give us glaives in ao PLEASE-

I mostly mean that most farming tools share major similarities with ārealā weapons and are only slightly less practical.
Like thereās very little difference between a spear and a well-sharpened shovel lol
People be deadass telling us scythes canāt work as weapons when thereās bright red sharks larger than buildings and people literally can shoot magma out of their hands

Actually now that I think about it pretty much every major Ravenna themed bossā weapon drops are very impractical (with a few exceptions, but even then those are up for debate in more nuanced discussion)
