nah, dnd came from everything fantasy

Imma agree with you due to my inferior knowledge of fantasy.

well… DnD DID inspire a lot of stuff… but its mostly from fantasy stories

DnD also standardized a lot of things. For example, there were a bunch of different interpretations for mythical creatures such as orcs. DnD’s description of a large, green, dumb humanoid kind of stuck after DnD became so popular.

Beholders were also started in DnD i believe. Fun fact: Death kiss is related to beholders

For Life Magic, how about a Ladybug?
Sounds dumb but hear me out
Ladybugs are apparently a symbol of regeneration and peace
which both could tie into Life Magic as a whole

Also Gold Experience

probably won’t get added cause The World Tortoise
but ladybugs are cool
so eh

aye, you never know, especially since the Earth Tortoise already exists

One last thing
@liu
I don’t know if Music should be considered at this point
but
If you’re going through with Art of Infinity being Ouroboros
for the love of god

this better be it’s theme
if not I will never forgive you

The music entirely depends on the vibe I get from the piece and I can totally live with that :sunglasses:

So I was thinking about Life Magic again and a druid came to mind, though it might be a bit too humanoid

ya, too human with the bipedalism n upright posture n stuff

Ooh, what about apophis, demon of ancient egypt?

or like a fairy or somthn

Typhon would be really cool for Apoc Bringer

I think someone said that already but I probably forgot to add that

Idk if I’ll do Typhon since it’s very much like rhe Hydra

Too much hydra-esque and serpentine creatures related to some sort of apocalypse lol
We got
Midgard serpent (Jormungandr)
The multiheaded dragon in the book of revelations (The beast)
Typhon

Technically not mythical, but Titanoboa is a long-extinct snake. It was the largest snake to ever exist on earth. Although it usually resorted to eating animals, it was capable of exerting immense force, crushing any animals that it surrounds. I think it would work well for pressure magic.

The shark is not part of Titanoboa

Looks like a croc rather than a shark.

t o o m a n y s n a k e s ! ! !

(also I’m really leaning toward deep-sea/space creatures for Pressure)
