Listen, don’t ever blame someone for having no fun in the early game because even as much as I love AO the first 60 odd levels are horrendous for travel lol. I shouldn’t be able to tab out and watch a youtube video in the time it takes my boat to get somewhere.

You’re upgrading the ships for sea activities

those sea activities would be useless if fast travel was added because it’d just be a faster and more reliable way to get what you wanted

frostmill to stepstones takes 2 minutes in a sailboat
cirrus to sailor’s lodge takes 2 minutes in a sailboat
sailor’s lodge to talos takes a minute and a half in a sailboat

I’m not asking for a horribly implemented fast travel.

Also how exactly would sea activities be useless, it’ll make it slightly more convinient, but you still have to sail out into the ocean and do all the stuff.

I watched this ENTIRE video in the time it took me and my friends to sail from frostmill to Palo town on our starter sailboat.

Those times you posted are accurate to the KETCH and ONLY the Ketch, the other boats are far slower. Do not forget early game players do not possess the on-hand funds to just ‘fix up’ damaged and slow boats.
