I can’t make an Accurate theos build cuz Fire will have to be my first Magic it can’t be my third
let there be giants in AO
ye prob
but like
imagine imbuing lost magic into lost fighting style… i think it might be for the best
we’d be able to anyways by getting a second magic as warlock so it wouldn’t really stop anything
unless you cant learn lost on your first fstyle either
think Vetex said there will be an option to turn into a giant with boosted stats in turn for some side effects in the QnA before the release of AO
He did and i asked the question(no need to thank me)
Crying knowing we’ll never get radius apoc bringer
no pressure radius fist i guess then
I meannn, the other builds get some busted stuff, too.
- Mage and Berserker can unlock all skills and customization options, along with having both an ancient and lost ability simultaneously, which could have absurd stats and synergies.
- Conjurer will probably be able to use all weapons of any level (unless they’re strength/spirit/artisan), including rare, lost, and ancient weapons. Any weapon can be turned into arcanium, so even the weapon with the highest stat requirement can go through a little crafting and suddenly have half of its weapon stat req become a magic req. It’s possible they could also imbue an ancient magic into an ancient weapon unless there’s some system preventing hybrids from equipping a lost/ancient weapon if they already have a lost/ancient magic.
- Warlords can use strength weapons with an ancient fighting style. Imagine the Vindicator but it has lifesteal and heavy bleeding, or Lion’s Halberd Striking Gale with the size boost of an upgraded Radius Fist.
- Warrior will get artisan weapons, all ancient weapons with aura boosts, and an unknown second awakening.
- Paladin and Juggernaut get a lost or ancient magic/fighting style alongside spirit weapons.
- (Knight will forever be TRASH!!! Spirit weapons are hardly an addition to them, because they’ll likely have to make the choice to swap out regular weapons for spirit weapons with their limited 3 slots, instead of getting all 3 regular weapons plus extra tools like the other weapon hybrids do)
- Savants can imbue both a lost magic + base fighting style or base magic + lost fighting style into a weapon at the same time, along with having arcanium strength weapons that will have skill requirements divided between all three of their stats, meaning high stat costs for abilities won’t be much of an issue. Enough said.
- Warlocks have no equivalent to arcanium weapons or strength weapons, so they can’t reduce the stat requirements for their skills like Conjurers, Warlords, and Savants can. Imbuements have a load of nerfs, like halved speed effectiveness, halved instant damage synergies, and soon halved second DoT damage and 0.1 less size. In the endgame, pure-build-exclusive ancient spells and ancient techniques could heavily outclass imbuements with their power and complexity. I feel like–due to all the things Warlocks are missing out on–not being able to have both a lost magic and lost fighting style could be the nail in the coffin, burying them too far below other builds in viability. All base fighting styles have pretty big stat drawbacks, which even an ancient magic imbuement may struggle to fully compensate for.
Maybe I’m biased, and I agree that imbuing an ancient magic into a lost fighting style sounds way too powerful without adjustments to the imbuing formula, but I think there is a genuine argument for why Warlocks should be able to have lost fs + lost magic.
Damn I really wanted to replace my Lightning Magic with Storm magic guess it ain’t happening
