Btw all of this would be fixed if players received a free magic/stat reset every 100 hours at mount othrys
I would also like to once again point out that Magic is the only stat that has to deal with such a painful and tedious process, even to just change a color variation. I should not have to pay 2000 robux or be a slave to the dark sea for hours on end just because I want to recolor my magic or, god forbid, try a new magic without replaying the entire game.
Frankly, if Vetex doesn’t want people changing their magics, maybe he should have it be a bit less of a “here’s a chart of magics to choose from, you have no reference to how any will function or how synergies work”. You make an educated guess on which magic you want - you don’t know if your magic will be good for the class you decide on, or if it even has synergies at all.
If Vetex really wants to keep magics super tough to change, at the very least add a magic reset in the same way that you get a free stat reset. It’d help with experimenting and improve the experience of new players who possibly chose a magic that didn’t fit them. Also making color variations not bound would help, you should be able to change those freely IMO.
He kinda does, to the patrons at least. They’re the ones who pay him, after all. Same with all the players who buy gamepasses to fund the game. It’s also generally a good idea to keep decent relations with your fanbase and NOT add widely-hated features, as this can reduce the amount of people who buy gamepasses.
Also revived the Hecate Essence rant stuff, so there’s that fueling this too.
