I like to add for blocking or any other moves, to add better visual cues, enemies are already as small as ants when youre at 3rd person and 10 meters away from them, not to mention the hellish amount of visual effects making you lose track of enemies. I suggest a glow or pulse color like in the game God Of War to warn the players that an attack or block is incoming, I think this can be beneficial as it adds more skill and timing on your attacks and parries, making them feel more rewarding.

oh yeah i didnt count this for self aoe attacks and such cause they dont need aiming
for things like surge it should just have a turning delay so that they dont ALWAYS look at you
like instead of looking at you it should look around where you were 0.25 seconds ago (human reaction time)

the only issue i can see is that it might interfere with the current aiming system for npcs, since they already do a little bit of predictive attack which, when done correctly, can be juked (basically a feint)
i believe that they do this through linear extrapolation (due to patterns i found within their attacks)

we all know the real solution is to stop playing the game until they do what we want

If you give NPCs less accuracy, an NPC having perfect accuracy would become something special. Like, I think Calvus should have perfect accuracy by default just because I think his fight would be worse if there was too much RNG, but Maria missing her shots sometimes makes sense considering her shotgun attack thingy

bosses are a special case
imo on the aoe blast attacks (like calvus’s charged shot or maria’s triple slashes) they should have somewhat high accuracy but on instant “poke” things (like calvus’s beam or maria’s gun m1s) they should have noticeably lower accuracy
basically the quicker an attack comes out on a boss the lower accuracy rating it should have
