yeah, because these updates to make people be able to just say no to love potions

The entire update is about pve and makes it harder to hunt people (harder to find people in the dark sea) yet you nitpick the one addition thats good for pvpers and not pvers :sob::sob:

the one addition that just makes it more annoying.

also you ain’t gonna stay in the dark sea all the time lol.

i have to say the main problem is just the pvp system in general, but vetex adding more shit for pvpers just makes no sense considering AO is apperantly supposed to be a PvE game, atleast a looooot more than pvp, but the amount of times my PvE content has been stopped, or even ruined by some pvp doofus has been too much

It devolved into pvp mess

Plus PvE players already got predefined magic/weapons they use to farm the hell out of bosses
and i dont see a single change to them.

A single skill to a sword wont change much

It is, just with the pvp as a side feature but just because it’s a side feature doesn’t mean he cant add content related to it ngl

Ya’ll forgetting there’s loads of pve content in the game, just that a lot of people prefer the pvp stuff

Fair but its literally more room to not be hunted. Especially cuz its massive af. On top of that its literally the focus of this update and therefore youll likely be spending 80% of your time there if not more until youre done grinding for stuff.

Fair. Tho you cant complain about this update cuz this update is literal heaven for pve players.

Bro its one small feature. On top of that just use high tier love pots and the pvper prolly cant counter that. Or better yet, one the deckhand rework is done just get rid of your renown and youll prolly barely ever get attacked.

Jewels fair enough but potions are literally a lifesaver for pve players. Just grind some reagents and you can easily escape 80% of pvpers. The only times you wouldnt be able to get away is if said pvper ambushes you AND runs slowness pots etc. Just look at nmz with his potions strategies and youll know how much more op potions are for runners compared to hunters.

??? Pulsar was never even a good pve spell to begin with. Regular blasts have way more dps and npcs are already pretty easy to hit. This nerf only made afflicting statuses on npcs a little more annoying.

Youre still only looking at the endresult. The entire fucking update is pve focussed and you can easily hide in the dark sea if you ever wished so. On top of that with the elysium being added and the deckhand rework having been proposed youll see pvpers less and you wont have to be hunted much anymore either.

This is just ridiculous. Youre saying more abilities is bad and only for pvp purely cuz youre already satisfied with the current abilities. You know you can use abilities for pve too right??? If you didnt, now you know :skull:. Flying phoenix seems op af for pve (ranged abilities are always good for pve)

darksea update gonna mean as a pve player I can just maximize boat speed and I will never be caught because maxing boat speed means most boat combat addons won’t be on my ship. who needs 12000 hp? 9000 hp here I come!

And i like how you mentioned none of the other potions, only the one to save yourself and not help farming PvE

All PvE builds are just mages with 20/20 blasts.

Not everyone is gonna.
You will have to get out of there at one point, be it too much loot or your ship running out of cargo.

Vetex said that itl only be allowed for testers so the PVP doesn’t get ruined by making it a better munera.

there is a reason vetex made rivals 160 rather than 130. it was just to easy

Nah, mages are fine but using a 20 blast on npcs is just :skull:

20 20 as in size.

20 blast on a lvl 160 rival would kill you or drop your health by a large margin

Brother do you want me to name every pve potion? Well ill name a few just to satisfy you. Love, luck, gale, shark repel, invis and tide all only-mostly benefit pveing and running. Agility, slowness and potions for stuns can ALSO be used to run (especially agility is used for this purpose). Not to mention that power and harming pots can also help you defend yourself.

The reason why i didnt mention the other pve potions is because they dont affect your experience with pvpers

Why not? If its good for pvp itll also likely be good for pve too. And there are also abilities that are mostly only good for pve (scims dual projectile)

Its for weapon builds and this is just stupid. Crystal ileg is OP af for pve and if you did some proper research youd know that magic, fighting styles and weapons are all good for pve if youd use the right abilities etc.

1000000000% cap. Pls stop lying. Most people are pvers and you can find loads of conjurer, warrior, warlock, mage, warlord and beserkers (less than the other 5 but still exist) that only do pve

There are 8 shipwrights for positive renown players and 11 for negative reps. On top of that theyre all scattered around the map. Sure theres a risk of getting attacked when returning from the dark sea but if you simply planned your start and end location properly youll likely be fine. Not to mention that the dark sea is fucking massive and you could come from literally anywhere.

Clans can still ask testers and mods for access. Sure this wont make pvp non existent in the main game but youll def find less pvpers like i literally just said

One thing about PvP and PvE combat I have noticed is that you need to always be moving because otherwise an npc can easily land an attack and higher level npcs are also always moving or blocking.
