Question about the Order

You know what, no notes. You managed to rebuff pretty much everything I found flimsy about Lucian’s plan. Though I still feel Allanon’s break down was more of a happy side effect rather than a planned thing.

I still feel Calvus was misallocating resources since Curse users being hunted by kingdoms is fairly common, and Beringer didn’t seem politically important beyond his connection Ren. So he could have just gone off with his own army rather than exposing the Order.

Finally, yeah, with how you put it, the Order does seem more competent than I gave them credit for. I still consider them a petty organization, as all organizations which lust for power are, but they are a bit smarter than I originally thought.

skyhall’s queen is the nimbus sea high lord mark my words

Dude

hell nah

I mean she does seem a likely canidate, her hair is literally purple. However, there is too little evidence currently to say one way or another, and it’s entirely possible that the High Lord is someone from the Sea, and Lucian is simply a hypocrit who really only cares for power. Though this also has some flaws, which I should probably make it’s own topic, but I’ll summarize here.

Given the circumstances of Liara’s death, I think she may have been the main target of Lucian’s attack. I’ll go into more detail at some point, but the main points are,

  • Main points
    • They could not have known where Allanon was relative to Liara.
    • Lucian’s visible detestation of Sea Folk.
    • She was in public, to make it more of a demonstration than a coup.
  • Counter Points
    • Forsaken disguises
    • Allanon’s ship
    • Mageskin disease

I’ll address all these points in a later topic, but I feel like there’s some actual evidence that Lucian was targeting Liara over Allanon. Feel free to discuss here before the topic is posted.

Imo, I doubt it’s lucian. the rest of the order are from the sea, and lucian’s too racist and compulsive to cooperate w/ them. veronica is from the morrigan family, and liara failed some sort of application not because she was terrible, but because her grandmother was a sea dweller  lucian’s the only child of zenith that’s racist and he didn’t get that from his dad sooo looking back veronica is more likely to be the baron

there might be a chance if the highlord could be tied to the event that causes the 1v1 that happens at the end of nimbus, just a pure guess
