I am glad to have another point of view, at least a polite and coherent one. The problem here is that this has been a race to the top from the very start: we try minimize infamy losses and maximize infamy gains, so the behaviour pointed out above makes sense in that regard. I am going to admit that I’m mostly indifferent when it comes to which levels we kill, as it’s all infamy that we need, but maybe if we undertook some of the measures proposed, we could lead the community be example?
Serious reply,
In Elemental Battlegrounds people are separated based on their levels and they are placed in different servers so the higher level people don’t just farm kills off of the poor newbies. I feel like if the game had a similar system where people aren’t just separated with level differences but also maybe time spent in the game then it might solve some of the problems stated above. I don’t know how difficult it is to implement such a function but that’s just my take on this whole thing.

I feel like this could sort of be easily done as vetex would only need to tinker with pvp shields (e.g only lvl 86 -> lvl 90 can fight each other and so on)
As of now, the community sees the guild as a ganking squad of toxic people. (not trying to be rude, this is just the truth of how many see the guild.) Yes I understand with race to the top is a big matter, it is honestly ruining the community. I have walked around and tried to make friends with random people, to make conversation, and they immediately try to run and ask me not to kill them. People shouldn’t have this type of reaction to meeting new people. especially in this type of game which is meant to be fun with all kinds of magic pvp and exploration. In the end, it is effecting the community with how your guild is acting over a race to the top, and ruining this fun experience which is meant to make people want to play with their friends even more.
I wont say much since k4 has and still is professionally arguing with this, but for the point about our description which all people keep going back to for some reason, let me counter it.
The desc was just something we put there cause we needed something. If you want a reason that our description clarifies our actions, here it is:
Yes we do establish order, our order is a dictatorship where suncry is always at the top. Happy now?
A description is just something guilds do to put something there, we arent rpers, were players who want suncry to be the best guild.
For the low level kills, yeah its a douche move, and I never recommend hunting low level players, but we have around 200 people we need to fit in SunCry and we dont have absolute control and eyes over what our members in the guild do to help raise our infamy. So I’m sorry this happens but there is basically no easy way to fix this
(also nice idea andrei, but I think it’d be easier to fix this via a pvp shield depending on the gap of levels between players)
At the end of the day, my dude. If you don’t want to die? Just don’t, it’s that easy.

Just don’t die kappa

That’s not how the game should work, yes in real life, the strong prey on the weak. But this isn’t how games work (an outlet for entertainment).
Basing off of this logic, you will diminish the player count severely with RKs as it’ll just be rogue lineage v2
Just a warning: some of the members are kinda getting into it for shitposts. I kinda have to apologize for that.
Not playing the game is a valid strategy
So basically our “motives” are misleading which lead you to create this rant? Understandable.
I guess they could be changed, but can’t really blame us, we didn’t come up with the current infamy system. All we are trying to do is enjoy the game, and progress the guild.
you are acting like this is a joke. But im 100% sure vtex isnt trying to make a rogue 2.0 with this guild system.
I can assure you, I’m having plenty of entertainment. It’s not our duty to make sure you are.
Now that’s what we call a sadist.
please refer to what i have already said about your guild:

And so, the argument falls apart because of differing opinions… I am sorry about that, but I can’t convince all of the people to talk about this in the same way that I do.
I think I’ve got my point across: hopefully, this won’t turn into a complete shitpost-fest.
Is there a possible way for me to close it by myself? Since it does seem to become a shitpost-fest
Good point but you gotta realize we aren’t the only guild doing this…
We are only being point out because of how large we are, I don’t see anyone complaining about the guilds below us.
I don’t actually know, since I never actually made a post by myself. Lemme check
