hell, if someone points out “hey you’ll be able to access the 3rd skill of the ravenna sword if we get flying phoenix” that might guarantee balancing for a somewhat underpowered weapon type
sword step, 170 wep
most meta weapons have very low 3rd skill reqs, its probably going to be one of them
all level 50 weapons require 170 wep, skill reqs wouldn’t make a difference
cant really predict what’ll get chosen though taking into account the entire community
what’s done is done between rare weapons and 3rd skills, just gotta hope people aren’t idiots
this isn’t gonna change much for the third skills on the weapons, they’re just gonna stay in meta with a new skill now 
the 3rd weapon skills should’ve just been saved for the nimbus sea update tbh

Well . . Yea, it doesn’t affect them directly of course given that they’re changes for the current skills we have.
We dunno which wep types are going to get their third skills (which honestly seems like all of them), and what they do.
- They could be a further nice step up of current skills
- Be potentially utility based like leap or airstep
- Or be practically ineffective like quick draw on bows. Though i personally doubt this potentially happens.
This is where me posting those two images and the point i was trying to present.
These changes allow it where these two specific weps might not even be meta really anymore. As it becomes more reasonable to use katana and iron staff, as currently kai and greenwhich staff are objectively better.
Im mostly in whatever goes atm, i personally think both should be added though.
