what are ya talking about
Paralysis wonât get any easier as time goes on, itâll only really come into play with glass cannon vs. glass cannon combat. Lightning has such a poor base damage that even with damage multipliers it struggles to outpace other magics. HP grows a lot faster than damage does
oh well fuck ice i guess
Magics that have less or no secondary effects will obviously get less from a stat that enhances secondary effects, in the same way that a slow magic gets little benefit from magic speed as thereâs very little to boost, or how weaker magics get less of a boost from power. Thatâs literally just how the game works, and unlike say something like Earth, Ice has a status it can increase the length of, freezing. Sure, it isnât going to be as useful as using it on Fire or Poison, but Ice isnât a magic that wouldnât gain anything from being amped. If that bothers you, donât use it in your build.
whatâs the point of a stat if itâs only gonna be useful on like a handful of magics
every other stat can be put to use regardless of your magic(given right now itâs kinda redundant to use anything other than power, defense or strength), so why whatâs the point of a stat that doesnât work depending on your magic
this suggestion still has my vote but only because knockback is just⌠stupid
You mean like how most stats aside from power and defense are niche and only useful on a handful of magics or builds? You wouldnât use magic speed on Gold, and you wouldnât try to use magic size on light. Different side stats work better or worse for different magics. If your magic doesnât stand to gain from a stat, donât use it. If it does, you can try to use it.
maybe ya know, completely rework things and add stat points so nearly anything is viable
different enchantments just amplify your current stats
lol
It does need ironing out as you said, but the core idea is marvelous. Build variety heaven, here we come.
heh yeah thatâs true
you can use speed on gold or size on light, and you could make some laughable build out of it or use it on the side as a crutch
come to think of it, why is this a magic only stat? this could work perfectly by making weaponâs bless dot be amplified
ngl, i dunno why they wont add stat points into the game

Cuz vet doesnât want them, in AA they made the game FAR less diverse, and more stats would not fix that problem
wat about shadow which does litterally nothing
you become color blind-er.
More seriously, itâd probably just make the colorblind effect last longer or make it have less contrast so that its harder to see.
oh i just remembered it stops regen right?
or am i thinking things
Could have the effect longer, but like Iâve said a lot if your magic has no extra effects (or none that matter) then the effect is essentially non-existent, much like trying to use a pure magic speed build kn gold.
This could also increase the time it takes to clear the effect via charging and/or reduce the cooldown on being able to re-apply a status effect after getting cleared (currently being 3s).
Love the idea, have my vote.
