what’s this?
This game is insane and I don’t know how its gone so long in the dark.
This needs more eyes on it immediately.
Melee fighting game with good bossfights and a decent bit of build variety.
Currently in early development. This is a demo.
I will shill my own thread to recommend this game again
epic necrobump
Liberty County, Car Crushers 2, Wild West, and Kaiju Universe (RIP)
Site-76 so fire too bad it discontinued
But Site-77 is real (I don’t think it’s out yet)
This game is a shmup which has easy yet fun gameplay. Try it, it’s underloved.
It’s actually so peak
This game needs to be more popular, it’s so fun (though admittedly a bit hard to learn on your first time)
It’s in the “Plates of Fate” format, but instead of spawning on a plate, you spawn on a space ship made of blocks that you can pick up and place.
Mostly “hull” blocks that only exist to give your ship structure, though some blocks can be interacted with, like thrusters to move your ship through space, or blasters to fire at other ships to detach blocks from them (which is what mainly happens when your ship is damaged by things).
When going into this game, please try and experiment with different blocks and upgrading them with Toolboxes and Combinators. There’s a bunch of fun possibilities.
This isn’t really a “wave defense” game in the way you’re probably used to them by this point.
There is no base to defend, only one person has to survive. Healing is very limited, and respawning only happens between waves.
This game is grindy, but it is also fun enough to justify the grind.
It can also be decently challenging.
THE hidden gem.
0 players. Well made.
Inspired by half-life, has a scan gun that can scan just about everything.
Give it a try if you enjoy beating hostile aliens to death with a metal pipe.
Do you like doors? Do you like pressure?
If you’re interested in that type of game, give this one a shot.
This is probably the most well made Rooms remake/continuation that I’ve seen released.
I’m sure some of the people here remember the days of EBG, Elemental Battlegrounds.
We all know its probably never updating again, given that their developers have moved on to make blox fruits, so a group of talented people have gone ahead and started work on a complete remake and continuation.
Its currently not open, but it is in active development and looks promising.
Be an alien: renewal
Nice and simple minesweeper game that stretches on infinitely, a great little minigame to play while you listen to your friends talk in VC. I’d recommend caution when joining a public server though as there are more trolls than actual players.
Absolute peak soul shatters / undertale inspired game. Currently there’s only 2 complete classes in game, but each of them have 2 sets of 5 moves which can have teleportation variants, crouching variants, air variants. If that wasn’t enough for you to make a combo with, there’s even phase 2s for the classes which adds ANOTHER moveset of 4-5 moves onto your 10+ moves already.
Short sweet and simple, a game about cutting down trees while life advice is given to you.
Promising pixel based rpg where you can make your own blade with craftable parts, be it a dagger, sword or spear. You can pick and choose your skills from a wide range of magic, strength, and elemental powers. This is early access though, so it’s not too rare to encounter a bug.
Did someone mention deforestation?
I’d also like to remind everyone that this game exists since only one person checked it out last time I mentioned it.
Finishing this off with…
The Final Recommendations
Roblox, as a platform has fallen HARD. It’s gonna continue falling.
Most games are dying out or not fantastic.
I will offer you, once and for all… My last recommendations.
Project Somnia - Yume Nikki Perfection
I cannot state how good Project Somnia is. If you love fan games of Yume Nikki, this one’s gonna be revolutionary. It uses its 3D space extremely well, and has a bunch of neat tricks going on INCLUDING the fact that, unlike most YNFGs on Roblox, EVERY WORLD IS IN THE SAME SERVER! It’s also got a story which is still developing and… It’s getting deep, man. The game’s an absolutely fantastic homage to what the Yume Nikki fan games have been, and even retains some of what made Yume Nikki so special in the first place. Overall, a really fun and chilled out exploration game that’ll take some wits to solve entirely. NOTE: Minor story spoiler, but you will need to translate some hexadecimal to get a particularly important lore bit! Keep your eyes peeled.
The Reactor - Finally, core game PEAK
Remember Pinewood? Innovation? This is them now. Feel old yet?
The Reactor is the final form of the “core game” genre. From blowing up reactors as a kid for fun tension and big boom boom, to actually trying to save the reactor and your ass (and Synthesis Manufacturing’s bottom line) from getting fucked up. It is, all in all, a hectic management game that will challenge you profusely. Can apparently be soloed, but… You’re SO MUCH better off doing this with 1-3 friends. It’s quite an interesting game with good progression and complexity ramp-ups, and now has recently-added upgrades you can spend your funding on! Yippee!
Overall, quite satisfying once you pull off a successful shift.
Entry Point: The Freelancer’s Cut - Operators Overhaul of EP
THIS GAME IS PAID ACCESS!
Essentially a full-blown tech demo of Operators, involving dramatically overhauled missions from Entry Point. Going off of the Safehouse Test game where The Deposit was freely accessible for a day, it is incredible. Entry Point’s cheese is dead, but your tactics to get through are significantly more diverse and enhanced. If you played Concept in the Extras for the original Entry Point, it’s basically that rolled into The Deposit that we all know, and given the Operators gameplay flair. As expected of Cishato, it’s golden. Well worth the 400 Robux, especially considering all 8 base game missions will be added to it. Currently, only The Deposit and The Financier are available. Just know, it is definitely a difficulty spike from even the Operators Demo.
Joshman601 games
Specifically the SCP ones
I’m totally not saying this out of nostalgia
