I hope this doesn’t go poorly, it seems like the person they’re getting is not from roblox itself, which can be a good and a bad thing.
On the plus, they might actually be competent, on the other hand they might not know the roblox platform well and might screw up something and fuck something up

This is amazing! I hope that the anti-cheat will be adjustable for developers needs.
I’m unsure of this, but apparently Byfron has made anti-cheats for games like Apex Legends or whatnot. Can’t bother to do research if they were good or useless.

also they should make it so devs can choose to add it or not
as long as it’s optional i think it’s fine
What I worry about this is the alt account prevention. It should only specifically target alt accounts of actual hackers who are trying to bypass their ban, if it just flat out gets rid of all alt accounts, innocent or not, we may have a problem.
Do you know how many users are alt accounts? Probably hundreds of thousands, but that’s just a vague guess.

But why not just release a module that allows anti-cheat like they’ve done with every other feature like this that they have announced?
Seems kind of weird to enforce an anti-cheat.
exploiters can look at that module and see how to get around it

True, but that’s the same with basically every publicly released anti-cheat, even this one that they are releasing now.
well most anticheats dont usually make their source code public, the point i was making is that if it was a module then anyone can just look at the code

I wonder what the alt account prevention will do. Would be hella helpful for preventing EXPLOITER alts, but like, I need my alts too. If i’m being legit i don’t see why I shouldn’t be able to use them. Also, 98% of my WoM items are on a storage alt so uhh…
