Within the first few minutes of this video he makes uneducated remarks on the situation related to Roblox changing user ID related stuff.
And then also promotes a sponsor after said uneducated remarks… this feels like he’s fear mongering to get money out of people.

Since from what I remember, there were apparently some big corporations using the user IDs to track players for corporate reasons… but Ruben sim says that the only reason he can think of for this change is to combat his ban list.
He also said that he believes that developers won’t be banned for using his ban list despite a few seconds earlier showing the ToS that states that you can’t use third party services to profile users… I’m sorry but has Ruben sim become stupid? Since I respect what he does, I respect that he’s apparently become less anti-furry, but I can’t respect misinformation from him…
And also him saying that we should execute people for being those kinds of people he’s trying to combat, since it seems like he has some sort of mob mentality that you’d see back when the Salem trials were more popular, rather than attempting to rehabilitate them.
He’s always been a giant slimeball. I believe he’s been performative when it comes to this stuff, and that he’s stopped caring a while back.
Ruben’s basically just milking their image of “Savior of Roblox” by spouting random shit instead of doing anything to help the situation. It’s blatantly obvious in the wording of their video titles like “Roblox players want to kill me”.
It reminds me of those Minecraft Youtubers who make a non-issue out of the game, point to Microsoft and then advertise their shitty launcher/server/mods that “improve” the game or whatever bullshit.
I think Ruben can be performative and extreme in his views, but I do agree that death is an appropriate sentence for extreme cases of child sexual abuse
You can make the argument that the death penalty is just too flawed, and I can agree with that. Besides, life without parole is essentially the same thing as the death penalty
Not for your average weird gooner who texts kids on Roblox[1], they should just go to jail for a non-trivial amount of time and be on the sex offender registry for the rest of their lives

It’s possible to make it cheaper by getting rid of all these worthless appeals even after it’s proven beyond any doubt that they did the crime

ok I’m really interested in hearing how exactly paying for who-knows-how-many-years of food/water/housing is cheaper than sitting someone in the electric chair.
Usually the U.S. prison system does lethal injection and that’s only in some states which is a shame because we (in my own opinion) should have firing squad in every state instead of this lethal injection bullshit

Only reason (in my own opinion) firing squad isn’t done is just because it looks like a dictatorship when you do firing squad (they’re the worst of the worst criminals by the way feelings don’t matter!)
