Rune Slayer releases next week

this is like the first game ive seen with overpowered pve. theres this really bullshit level design where you have to open a gate for 5 silver and go down deep into a volcanic pit so you can kill fiends. If ur a beast tamer and ur pet is big asf, you might as well go down it without a mount because its so large itll accidently touch lava and instantly die. the parkour is fine and dandy until… you get to the bottom. theres this piece of parkour with lots of lava everywhere and an imp. If this imp spots you, you might as well just jump in the lava ur fucking self because it will hit you, harrass you and shoot fireballs until you fall in. Assuming you get to the single fiend spawn (if you go to the double one, you will undoubtedly die) hooray you get to fight it. This mf has the most bullshit perilous attack i’ve seen. If he lands it, the fiend will grab you and drag you to the nearest lava body and dunk you in. ITS A ONE SHOT

Slippery slope, I saw someone in the discord mention “evos” but not for the common races.

Cosmetics would be a great way of doing that, but personally I’d like race progression or gameplay unique races with inherited passives from your previous race.

Making PVP optional was the greatest thing done for our AO economy :pray:
(I no longer need to worry when I do cargo runs and can just chill)

off topic but what if pve and pvp had different balancing? like stat wise

Ah yes, I remember when that was requested for GPO. I don’t think it ever happened, but it’d be a good idea. It’s just that I doubt devs will do it, especially if pvp isn’t a priority anyways.

I’m a magician (basically a mage). Personally, hoping I get longer ranged spells if I’m gonna have to deal with that.

i mean in arcane odyssey, since theres gonna be a toggle

it makes hella money so its gonna keep happening

i didnt bother playing past the tutorial because the game genuinely had nothing interesting about it

well you see edward, when something remotely creative becomes successful on roblox hundreds of low quality copycats pursue the same type of game to make some big bucks

yeah i think the deepwoken clone allegations are stupid, unless the deepwoken developers ACTUALLY have a problem with it, i don’t really like watching people just go “WAAH WAAH DEEPWOKEN COPY!! DON’T HAVE PARRYING!!”
