Since people don’t know much of the old lore of AA I’ll try summarizing Torren
Freedrock and Torren were comrades who were really powerful and were both born on Ian’s cross, Torren was especially powerful with the monicker of “king slayer” and neither needed much, Freedrock wielded the Durandal + primitive magic, Torren wielded primitive magic and if anything else, it’s unknown. At some point Freedrock is given the Lazarus curse and after that, Torren obtains the DarkFlame curse but due to the strength of the curse, he was made easier to corrupt and so Hades corrupted him into killing Freedrock, his own kingdom (at Ian’s cross), and Prometheus(he was the actual one who killed Prometheus and not cursebeard under old lore while cursebeard took credit). After Freedrock died he lost his Durandal by the time he revived and it was corrupted by hades and taken by ???. Torren eventually got too powerful for hades control but luckily other unknowns were available and sealed Torren. Torren is also batshit insane at this point and the behavior of DarkFlame naturally is that it never stops spreading so his ability to “destroy the world” works by burning all of it like lighting a fire in a forest.
Morrock is a random dude who got Promethean flame and is p weak because he doesn’t want to use the full power of his curse

if he killed prometheus then why were the grand fire curses created
and if they were made to kill him then why would prometheus allow him to just absorb one

Honestly though it would be nice to see Vetex actually try and make the new dark flame curse user slightly more interesting and less “2009” fanfic level written.

Common misconception, in the old lore, he already predicted cursebeard would raid mount olympus and made the grand fire curses in hopes someone would kill cursebeard.
In the new lore it’s been revised to he made it in secret with the other curses but in the old lore he made the grand fire curses before the mount olympus raid even began.
To fit this into a timeline it would be
Prometheus gives humans magic
Freedrock, Torren, and Arthur build up power along other people through aurem sacrifice
Prometheus creates grand fire curses because he knows Arthur is going to kill him
Arthur along with other people(Torren could’ve been among them but idk about that) raid Mt Olympus
Arthur forces Prometheus to make curses
Torren either gets DarkFlame and kills Prometheus or kills him without it and later finds DarkFlame
Hades corrupts him into destroying his hometown and killing his comrades
Durandal is corrupted
Torren is insane and can’t be controlled by Hades any longer
Eventually hades gets another experiment to play with (Durza)
