Tl;dr old AA lore was crazy
Torren isn’t canon due to plot holes related to relative strengths but also just to point this out, Promethean flame at the time of the old lore was not stronger than DarkFlame (particularly with Torren where his sorrow literally boosts its power)
Which means morrock isn’t even a fraction of torren
If there’s a current owner of the DarkFlame curse they’d have to be someone who’s relatively weak without their curse and not someone who’d box gods before even having one
So this man prometheus created the strongest gfc, stronger than his own and then just left it to be taken by the godkiller.
Was prometheus suicidal in the old lore or some shit? Why create your own murder like that 
imo morock still stomps. no matter how talented torren is, or how experienced he is, it doesnt matter since he has the lesser power (Darkflame < Prom Flame). in terms of strength comparing the two is like a nuke to a hydrogen bomb. morock may be less experiencrd but he still just has way more power on hand
Logically Morock absolutely stomps.
The entire POINT of promethean flame is that it can do anything any of the other grand fires can do better.
Inferno is really good at lighting things on fire? Promethean burns hotter.
Aethereal is really bright? Promethean shines brighter.
Darkflame spreads to everything easily? Promethean is faster.
You get the idea, right?
My understanding is that having promethean flame curse puts you at a higher level than a character with a supercurse consisting of every other grand fire.

However, Torren was designed to be overpowered as fuck for absolutely no reason.
true but it did have a reason(was supposed to be a secret and most difficult AA boss needing 4 people)
also promethean flame curse rn is probably the 2nd strongest curse after lazarus but still would elevate even a random person into ocean evaporation strength
