Personally I think a fun myth to borrow/adapt like how they changed the Prometheus myth would be Pandora’s Box. The motivations for Pandora, or her equivalent, opening the box could be a fun thing to delve into, and it could also tie into some of the reasons for the events of the game.

Icarus may be neat, but I don’t expect to ever have a viable method of flying that is neither skyships, nor a high-level Wind user.
Pandora’s fancy jar that somehow contained both concepts and things that are technically living beings might be interesting, but I don’t really see it being represented unless the AU’s version of Pandora shows up somewhere.
Honestly, not too sure about any others.
I’m just saying, seeing the minotaur being a general for either Samaria or Keraxe would be pretty cool.

I can see Medusa being in the game, just a really good earth mage or earth curse user. Actually I can see her using a new spell/technique where you can directly target someone and apply your magic effect on them stronger, which would explain the people turning into stone.

Odysseus as a Sea Curse user. Uniquely, his Sea Curse wouldn’t kill him upon contact with the sea, and he could swim—the curse only curses him with knowledge and understanding beyond any other mortal.

Given some of the new structures in the dark seas and some certain sail patterns, it would not at all surprise me if Gorgons were an upcoming enemy type.
God I hope this ends up happening. She probably wouldn’t have the Earth Curse, though, because Durza had it until a month before AO.
