I’ll go first: Glass Paladin kitted out in full Glass Arcanium (arcanium mage set + arcsphere + bracelet) and imbuing the Eagle Patrimony into magic

The damage dealt would be through the roof, a literal glass cannon. Paladin instead of Mage because the EP allows you to make your main damage source (Glass magic) deal much more damage to the bleed clear synergy. It also gives you the extra HP to offset the negative defense bonus, and you can use agates to push the health up a bit more if you wanted to.

What are your thoughts about crackpot ideas? They don’t necessarily need to be meta ideas or even good ones- just ones that are fun to think about.

I wanted to turn my acid file on my main account, Ashlyn, into an acid paladin, originally was gonna turn her into an oracle but… welp… lol.

I’m not sure if that’ll look good though… she is merciful however, so I’d get some sort of weird royal looking elixir if I did decide to do that.

also the idea of a patrimony imbued ileg juggernaut or sailor fist user sounds terrifying

i have a patrimony imbued cfist juggernaut that’s able to do like 260 damage with m1s after imbue and focus so I can see why iron leg and sailor style would be scary as well

weird thought just surfaced in my head

-strength, lorewise, is the “weakest” route

-berserkers are pure strength users

-does that make warlords, juggernauts, and warlocks, all automatically stronger than a berserker?

I thought it was just a case of everything that isn’t magic or spirit being automatically weaker

weapons aren’t really weaker considering a lot of factors give them the upper hand.

it’s only strength that seems to be the “worst route”, since, yknow, bla bla bla the weakness of the flesh bla bla bla

Well until vetex comes out with a statement on what routes are best-worst that is what I’ll be sticking by

oracle and mage stay winning :fire:

…does paladin… compete with them however

considering the lore retcons… a paladin is technically a pure build too

I assume it’s a similar case with other magic/vitality hybrids where they can theoretically become as powerful as their pure counterparts

back to crackpot build ideas

max intensity ash paladin

they can?

how?

By just improving their magic capabilities, I assume the same logic applies for vitality hybrids

280 magic mage? :x:

60% vitality juggernaut :muscle::sunglasses:

Weapons can become middle-of-the-road in terms of power when a Weapon-user gets their hands on a Legendary Weapon that is dripping in Magic, such as the Aethereal Ornament or Sword of Morock’s Fire from AA. Until then, I’d say they’re on-par with Strength builds.

my question is, would a paladin just be automatically stronger than a juggernaut or would they be more equal in terms of capabilities

Yes. Vetex has stated that Magic users have a leg up over everyone else, and that while non-magic users could potentially become part of the strongest 11-20, to be among the strongest 10 people in the world you’d have to be a user of magic.

He has also stated that this doesn’t apply to imbuement users, as they are still using magic, just through weapons/fs/vitality as a conduit.

Get an explosion-light mage and invest almost everything into attack speed, with room to spare for size. This is to solely spite balance team.

don’t forget vitality

because apparently oracles and mages are like 2 sides of the same coin now

If I remember correctly, non-magic/spirit builds cap out at around 15th strongest

oh yeah, mb I misremembered
