well people are gonna have to start using slow supernova potions or whatever they’re called, lb hunters use a bajillion potions already anyways

This isnt about being able to play the game tho :skull:. If YOU CHOOSE to join a high infamy clan youre literally signing up for getting hunted for infamy. There is ABSOLUTELY 0 GAIN to having high infamy besides cheaper building which is MINIMAL. A pver is WAY better off in an average clan and just afking farming blackreach or whatever for a bit longer than to join a legendary clan and get hunted over and over in a HIGH INFAMY CLAN ONLY server

Gonna shove me in a clan server and then make me vulnerable to more attacks then usual?
And it’s to ENCOURAGE SHIP COMBAT. Why turn it off in “competitve” servers if it’s to add more combat?

I find it insane how people say ganking is a “HUGE ISSUE THAT’S RUINING THE GAME” when even in a high infamy clan, you get ganked SO rarely

Understandable, but I do think the course of action for fixing max speed builds shouldnt be “disable it for hunting”, both because that’s boring and it just reintroduces what this is trying to solve (no reason for ship combat)

Fair enough, im just suggesting a bandaid solution to an already bandaid solution :sob:

The easiest and simplest way imo is to simply make cannons and mortars not take speed, now everyone has tools to partcipate in ship combat and the entire issue is solved

Almost like in the case of hunting they’ll just instantly log whenever they get out of range :scream:

Simply remove all measure of speed from combative slots, and all measure of combat from speed-based slots.

mortars and cannons already slow your opponent down once you’ve damaged them, this isn’t an issue at all

You don’t agree it’s an issue, but that’s irrelevant to the solution, making cannons and mortars not use up speed is just a good thing overall
